Your guide will greet you at your downtown Halifax Peninsula accommodations. You will then head towards the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour from Halifax.
Once your guide drops you off at Peggy's Cove you will have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse and explore for an hour and a half!
At the end of your tour at Peggy’s Cove, your tour guide will drop you back off at your Downtown Halifax Peninsula hotel.
Trip is 3.5 hours depending upon traffic and your pick up.

1.00This was a terrible ride. Squeezed 7 large adults in a small SUV. Disgraceful! Advertised as a scenic guided experience. Basically a taxi ride with no guide. Due to heavy traffic took 90 minutes which shortened our time at Peggy’s Cove. And driver had terrible BO. And to boot was a rainy day. Not the best experience but Peggy’s Cove is a quaint spot.

1.00Beware this trip. We waited in the designated spot and were kindly informed by an employee of the museum that we were better waiting in the car park. Four suvs arrived and 20 mins was spent trying to match guests with cars, even though all the travellers were there. No-one seemed to know what they were doing and so we left 15 mins late . We eventually were placed in the boot / trunk seats of an suv which are not big enough for adults - chin on knee for 2 hrs. There was not a personal guide as described- just a driver. This trip was effectively outsourced to a taxi - the badge was inside the car. We got 40 mins at Peggy’s Cove instead of the 2 hrs advertised. Traffic was bad (no-one’s fault), but this was barely long enough to queue for the restroom and walk to the lighthouse. Very disappointing and a total waste of our afternoon which amounted to 3 hrs in a taxi.
