Your guide will greet you at your downtown Halifax Peninsula accommodations. You will then head towards the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour from Halifax.
Once you arrive at Peggy’s Cove you will have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse).
At the end of your tour at Peggy’s Cove, your tour guide will drop you back off at your Downtown Halifax Peninsula hotel.
Trip is 3.5 hours depending upon traffic and your pick up.

3.00It had the potential to be great, but a lot depends on the tour guide and your fellow passengers. We traveled with a very unfriendly couple and a single teen that didn’t say a word. We were supposed to see 2 or 3 highlights but he only managed one stop as he said he was running late and had another pick up at 1 PM. Peggy’s Cove, however was amazing and I loved it!! What a gorgeous place!
Good tour, but Peggy's Cove was a little underwhelming.

3.00There just isn't all that much to Peggy's Cove. It is pretty, yes, but once you've taken in the rocks and the view, that's about it. There's a lighthouse there, but not a particularly interesting or good one. Our guide, Stu, was good. He took us around Halifax a bit before and after the trip to Peggy's Cove and gave us the history of the place and information about the town and the Province. The Ford Expedition that we in was nice, but the transmission kept slipping when the driver pressed the gas, leading to loss of power and big "clunk". The tour operator needs to get that vehicle off the road until it's fixed.

5.00Omar was a very friendly driver for our trip to Peggy’s Cove. He gave us lots of information as we traveled and was very easy to communicate with. We were dropped off at Peggy’s Cove for 2 hours which was plenty of time to explore the lighthouse and town as well as get a lobster roll from Tom’s! Would recommend this as a cheaper alternative to the cruise excursion. We did not stop at the Titanic cemetery (which was why I picked this option), but Omar dropped us at the waterfront so we could walk back to the ship and explore from there.
