I love, love, love the food and the experience at Auntie K's home. I have had an extended stay in Ghana and every time I eat Ghanaian food at local restaurants- I wish I were eating the food made in my cooking class. I have gone two times to this class and each time the food was excellent. She has a mild personality and a good sense of humor. Very authentic. Jollof Rice / Fried Snapper & Grilled Tilapia / Grilled Chicken / Mixed Vegtables / Bankou / Kelewele over two different classes.

My wife and I always book a cooking class when we travel and we were very happy with this option. Auntie K provides clear directions to the meeting point and walks you through the entire process of cooking your dishes. We did not request a specific dish and had Auntie K choose for us. We ended up making jollof Rice and Grilled chicken with boiled plantains and eggs, sauteed cabbage, and greens with smoked tuna. It was hands down the best jollof rice and chicken we had in Accra during our stay and the greens were my favorite out of everything. Be sure to write down the recipe as you cook so you can try to recreate at home. Auntie K was happy to answer any questions we had about the process or anything else that came to mind. You can choose to work as much as you feel like. The process is fulfilling and satisfying to participate and eat. We would recommend to anyone looking to learn how to make local Ghanian dishes at home.

I had a great time making Ghanaian food with Auntie K! I was the only one in attendance which made it even more enjoyable learning about each dish.

A wonderful time with Auntie K who shared with us her market habits and her cooking skills. We cooked jollof rice with chicken and another typical Ghanaian dish. It was delicious! We'll try to do it again in France!

We were treated to a great demonstration of Ghanaian cooking. We watched as the food was cleaned, chopped, blended, cooked and beautifully presented. Yum!

Auntie KK and her assistant were great with us! We made jollof rice, kelewele (spicy plantains), goat soup with fufu (roll those sleeves up friends because it is hard work making the fufu!), sauteed veggies and grilled chicken! Everything was delicious!

If you want an authentic cooking experience, you will love this class. No blender but learned to use a pestle and mortar which was amazing to blend veggies and spices. Cooked everything over a charcoal cooking stand. Learned how to regulate the heat with a hand fan. Most of all there were so many hints on the use of ginger, peppers of all heat intensity, seafood bouillon cubes, course sea salt, white pepper and other seasonings. The final meal that we prepared was beyond delicious and KK was so fun!

My mother and I loved this experience. Authentic Ghanaian cuisine was cooked and we had a FEAST. Aunty K and Manuela were great host and made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our experience.

I had an awesome time cooking with Auntie K. I learned so much other cooking skills than the recipes we cooked. Then when we got to eat the food, it was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend to take this class.
