Tortuguero
We gather at the main pier, from there the indications are given and we start walking out of the town of Tortuguero, we go on a trail looking for frogs, spiders, insects, lizards, sloths, birds and we could see other species of mammals, giving the information of each species and the area. Then we walk back to the village, it lasts about two hours minimum.

5.00Both the Night Adventure and the morning canoe trip in Tortuguero were absolutely fantastic experiences of our entire Costa Rica trip! Our guide, Brandon, made them the best possible adventures. Brandon speaks excellent English and is a wealth of knowledge. He didn’t just point out animals he shared incredibly detailed and fascinating information about their behavior, habitats, feeding habits, whether they’re nocturnal or diurnal, and even seemed to know the exact spots where certain species were most likely to appear. Thanks to him, we saw (and learned about) far more wildlife than we ever expected: monkeys, toucans, sloths, countless birds, frogs, basilisks and so much more. What really set Brandon apart was his passion for photography. He used his own phone (with an impressive telephoto lens) to take stunning close-up shots of the animals and shared the high-quality photos with us via WhatsApp a hugely appreciated bonus that gave us professional-looking souvenirs at no extra cost! Beyond the wildlife, Brandon generously shared insider tips about Tortuguero village itself: the best local restaurants, and other activities worth doing with our remaining time. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you, Brandon, for two perfect excursions!

5.00We had the pleasure of having Brandon as our guide for the night hike and the canal tour. I highly recommend him! He is personable, friendly, accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. We saw many different birds, frogs, snakes, spiders, caymans and sloths, all of which we likely wouldn’t have seen if he hadn’t pointed out to us! Thanks again and I will definitely hire him again if I am ever lucky enough to return to Tortuguero

5.00We were five girls on a night tour in Tortuguero, and it was absolutely wonderful. Brandon was so funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. He showed us all kinds of animals, explained everything with so much enthusiasm, and made us feel completely safe while walking through the jungle at night. He also took great photos of the animals and of us, which we really appreciated. We got flashlights and special glass lenses to help us spot animals in the dark, which made the experience even better. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tortuguero!
10/10 experience, the best in Tortuguero!

4.00I had a very nice night walk with Brandon on Tortuguero: he is a local guide that was raised in Tortuguero and knows a lot about the area, especially about the wildlife but also other subjects. Besides that he had a good sens of humour 🤠 I really recommend him and his services, he also works with other guides such as Angelo, which I had a very interesting morning canoe excursion with in Tortuguero. Pura vida! 🦥🇨🇷🤠

5.00Unreal experience. Brandon is a self employed local with incredible experience and knowledge of the local wildlife. He spots things that are otherwise impossible to see, and we saw things like toucans, sloths, spiders, bats, birds, lizards etc. that we couldn’t have done alone. My partner is pretty scared of spiders and he put her at ease Plus he was great to chat to and very knowledgeable. Takes great photos and sends them to you. Definitely the best guide around.

5.00We had an amazing time with Brandon on the night walk + canoe tour. He was great at finding wildlife. We saw 3 snake species, multiple frogs and lizards, birds and many other things in just one day. You will learn a lot about wildlife with him! He was knowledgeable on the history of Tortuguero (because he’s local) which was very cool to hear about and spoke great English. And he was also very passionate about the conservation of Tortuguero National Park! You can’t go wrong booking a tour with him, not only for what he will show you, but for his customer service as well! If I come back, booking a tour with Brandon will be the first thing I do!

5.00We had a fantastic night tour with Brandon, a kind and knowledgeable guide. Thanks to his sharp eyes and calm presence, we spotted many animals including a sloth, monkeys, a sleeping cockatoo and the famous red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas). Brandon clearly loves what he does. He took his time, shared great facts and made the jungle come alive at night. Highly recommended if you want to truly experience the magic of Tortuguero!
