What To Expect

Tortuguero National Park

Our tour starts in our office, located 50 meters south of Tortuguero main wharf. After a cordial welcome and check-in, and after the guide's instructions, we will begin to discover the nightlife of the forest.

This tour we did with Gabriel and he is there with full enthusiasm. We have seen a lot with and through him. He has a good eye for it. Of course it is nature here and there is no guarantee for anything, but we have come up with a nice yield of pictures here. Everything from frogs to owls and toucans to sloths was there. Big thanks to Gabriel.

Gabriel, excellent guide for the night, we were fortunate that nature helped us with good sightings but also he as a guide took great care to find the different species from frogs, spiders, sloth bears and snakes. A very passionate guide for your work

We thought it was a nice tour in which we were able to spot many animals. It was great to see how excited our guide (Gabriel) himself got about seeing the animals and telling us about it.

Me and my friends were delighted with the guide Andy has been the best guide not only of turtle but of all Costa Rica. Very handsome friendly and helpful we had a lot of fun and watched a lot of lazy animals, toucans and many more.

Had a great experience with Luis, he had a great knowledge of all wildlife and we saw loads including a big caiman. Would definitely recommend.

Luis was a great guide, that told us a lot about the animals we saw. He was really positive and so friendly, would absolutly recommend! The only thing that we would say is that the parc is not too exciting, if you have already visited corcovade or something. But we saw the bluejeansfrog an many Sloths, that was great! The Canoetrip is definetly a cool thing to do and we saw beautiful nature!

It started on time at 6:30. There were only three of us with our guide Marco and it was a wonderful experience. Marco was able to show us so many animals and give us important information about them. Then we went off the path into a narrow jungle path. There we even saw a sleeping toucan - so beautiful! We felt very safe with Marco and would do the tour again and again!
