The night tour starts in the village, as the trail is crossing the village. It is an interesting tour as the guide will start talking about the pieces of old machinery that are around the village and then we will reach the trail where we will test our visual abilities by helping the guide find animals among the vegetation, which will make this tour dynamic and fun. On the night tour we can find different species such as frogs, snakes, insects, sleeping birds and some mammals, always in their natural environment.

Very interesting, we spent a couple of hours seeing all the fauna that was shown by Tortuguero. The guide was very knowledgeable, but was undynamic.

One of the many night tours, It was a little bit confusing to find, but the group was great! There were only six people in my group, and we had a guide who spoke great English. Over the few hours, we saw a variety of insects, frogs, and animals. They gave us a flashlight and binoculars, though the binoculars were a bit hard to use. We saw sloths, which were the absolute highlight. The ground was a bit wet, so good walking shoes are critical. And make sure you wear long pants.

There were many animals shown and there were always good answers to questions. Weather has fortunately held up too. Guide also super understandable:-)
