What To Expect
Chandragiri Hills
Your memorable day tour starts from the hotel according time. ( Recommended start 7 am to 2 pm). First destination will be Chandragari Hill. Down to the Hill go by private car or bus then use cable car to go to top of hill. You will observe beautiful jungle, Kathmandu City and Himalayas View from cable car. Then while you will stop cable car you need to walk 5 minutes to reach the top and famous Shiva Temple known as Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple which is really famous Temple in Nepal. From the top we can see nice view of Kathmandu Valley, Village and Himalayas Views. Top is 2551 metres above the sea level. After exploring the Chandrigiri Hill, Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple include city and Himalayas views will move towards Swayambhunath Temple also known as the Monkey Temple. The main stupa is located at the top of a hill, and you have to climb the long stair to reach the stupa. We visit Buddhist Thanka Panting school as well Healing and singing bowls demonstration centre in this tour.

5.00A really great day out with Prakash Aryal on this tour. Prakash was a very good guide - his extended knowledge of local culture and the history of Nepal complimented everything we saw. The skies were blue and everything was set for a good day. Monkey Temple was a pleasure with views and ambience. The Chandragiri Hills and gondola ride only made things better as we saw across to both Everest and Annapurna and there were other various activities going on at the summit. We finished the day with a follow-on and additional visit to Lalitpur and the Palace of Patan as we went into the evening. Prakash opened our eyes to Nepal and the Nepalese people and the great heritage of this beautiful community.

5.00We took this tour with Cordial Trek Pvt, our guide was Biraj. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, good English speaking. I never felt rushed during our walk around the Monkey Temple. The views from the Chandigiri Hills were amazing. We were fortunate to have clear skies. Himalayas mountain range is amazing and beautiful.

5.00I had a great day with Biraj from Cordial Trek Pvt Ltd. Who operate today’s tour. He met me at my hotel with reduced my stress over having to manage navigating the Kathmandu traffic which could only be described as harrowing. We first saw the Monkey Temple and then moved on to the cable Car and tour of Chandragiri Temple. Biraj is very fluent in English and is very k owledgeable on his the subject matter of the sites we visited . We also connected on other topics and had a g r wat day all around. Well done Biraj.

5.00Fantastic tour guide!! The hill and the activities on the top were awesome. We had to schedule later in the day which left us with a bit of fog/earlier is better. Overall still a great tour! The cable car is great too!
