The excursion was ok. They have so many kayaks out at once you don’t even know what group is yours . Have to spend half the time waiting while each kayak goes in the cave. I get that the guides are looking for tips and telling us how little they are earning …. This place must be making a fortune - pay your employees more !

Highly recommend this tour. Zack and Aimee were outstanding guides. They were patient with those of us who had never kayaked before and were very helpful teachers. (No one fell out even in the surf coming in!) Zack has an incredible knowledge of the ecosystems, and he pointed out several species of fish and birds. We got fairly close to sea lions and were able to go into one of the caves. All in all, a great experience for my granddaughter and me. Highly recommend.

Had the best time kayaking around La Jolla Cove today! Crystal-clear water, epic cliffs, sea lions living their best lives, and bright orange Garibaldi fish everywhere. We got to paddle through a few sea caves too—such a cool experience. I was really hoping to spot some leopard sharks, but no luck this time (guess I’ll just have to come back!). Big shoutout to our tour guide Cole—he was amazing. High energy, funny, and super informative. He made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to explore the coast and get up close with some SoCal wildlife!
