White water rafting is a recreational outdoor activity that uses an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water. This is often done on whitewater or different degrees of rough water. Dealing with risk and the need for teamwork is often a part of the experience.

This is a joint tour, the operator will be picking up each guest in order, so please kindly wait patiently at your hotel. If waiting for too long, please contact the operator immediately.

On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund.

Children between the ages of 7 and 12 are welcome to accompany their parents on the raft, but we ask that they skip the 2km stretch of class IV rapids as they can be to dangerous for small children.

What To Expect

• 08:00am – 08:40am Pick you up from the hotel in Chiang Mai Town • 09:00am Depart from Chiang Mai Town • Drive you in a comfortable air-con vehicle along the winding road of the mountain to the Mae Taeng River. • Experience the beauty of the rainforest and remote areas of Northern Thailand • Get a safety briefing and some time to practice with the certified guides. • Face the challenge of the 10 Kilometers white water rafting on the Mae Taeng River. Experience an adrenaline rush as you venture through the river. • Vegetarian lunch • Visit Phachee waterfall to swim, jump and slide down the cliff • 04:30pm Drive you back to your hotel where we drop you off. *The tour program is subject to change due to the weather & sea conditions* **Please be patient in cases of unforeseen delays along the pick up route**

Such fun! Well organised and stress-free experience run by a team with good humour. I felt safe with the equipment, safety briefing, and support crew on hand. Lunch after the rafting was tasty and there was more than I could finish. And the waterfall sliding was a fun way to finish off the day before heading back

These guys were fantastic! Great communication during pick up. The water levels were low but they put us in two man kayaks and kept it fun and exciting. The lower part of the trip we did ran through the elephant sanctuary- there were elephants in the river as we floated by and water buffalo. It was extraordinary. It also felt very safe and well thought out. We went with two families, four adults and 4 teenagers. Everyone had a great time! The lunch was really nice as well. Highly recommend- absolutely would go with these guys again!

I was a solo traveller to chiang mai and booked a trip with these guys. Thomas picked me up from inside the old town square and drove me to there base. On route Thomas told me that I was there only booking today. (Probably because of burning season). When I arrived I was made very welcome by the team and introduced to Em (definitely spelt wrong) who was going to be my raft guide. We got kited up and drove approx 15 mins upstream to the start. A quick safety briefing and we was underway We used the small raft as it was just me but with low river levels the Larger rafts would have struggled anyway. During the experience we encountered some good white water in places and elephants bathing in the river as we passed. Lunch was served at there base before heading up the hill to a waterfall and played about on a natural slide Whist rafing a photographer was chasing us and got some great pictures. ( I was expecting the hard sell but they simply sent them to me on what's app.) All in all I cannot recommend this company high enough. I think it just goes to show that one customer is as important to them as a raft full of customers. THANK YOU GUYS

This tour was so SO much fun! The scenery of the river was beautiful and when the rapids came up it didn’t feel dangerous but still gave us juuust the right dosage of adrenaline and sense of adventure! The guides were also so funny and playful and the food was yummy. They even took us on a short hike afterward and we slid down a waterfall! Then we rode back on the top of the truck and it was just the perfect end to our wonderful honeymoon! Highly recommend if you’re looking for fun and adventure!

The tour was amazing!! I am absolutley amazed by the family who runs the Business- they were all so cute and funny! Even though I was the only one doing the tour because two other guys didn‘t show up, the tour happened and I was so glad!! Saw some elephants down rafting, relaxed and swam a bit. Such a beautiful nature, the lunch was amazing too!! 🥰

Fantastic full day out and great value for a full day of rafting with the kids. We had 3 boys (8-11) and 3 adults across 2 rafts - really nice and friendly guides and a nice Pad Thai for lunch. Tip for booking is to contact them directly as you get mega discount

Best day in our entire month in Thailand, it was amazing to do the rafting through such beautiful surroundings, it was a good length and the river was a perfect balance of being exhilarating but not scary. Our guide, Mike, was really friendly and very funny! Thank you Mike for an amazing day 😊 After the rafting the natural slides were good fun, and Mike also was great at showing us animals and plants through the jungle. Highly recommend.

Very nice experience that I recommend. As a single traveler, Tom made me feel comfortable. Everything was smooth and flawless. Instructors Mike and Gai were friendly and did not hesitate to share their knowledge about their culture and the surrounding nature. All with humor! To do!
