Ky Anh Tunnel
The Ky Anh Tunnels are among the most remarkable hand-dug tunnel systems created by the Vietnamese during the war. Constructed between 1965 and 1967, this underground network served as a vital shelter for the Viet Cong during some of the most intense periods of conflict. On this immersive tour, our knowledgeable local guide will lead you through sections of the original tunnels. You’ll hear fascinating stories, meet locals who helped dig the tunnels, and gain a deeper understanding of the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people during wartime. The journey doesn’t end underground—you’ll also explore some of the most peaceful coastal villages in Central Vietnam, offering a striking contrast between the scars of the past and the serenity of today.
The Vietnam's Heroic Mother Statue
The Vietnamese Heroic Mother Monument Located on Cam Mountain in Tam Ky, this monumental statue honors the extraordinary sacrifices of Vietnamese mothers during wartime. It was inspired by Nguyen Thi Thu, a local mother whose story embodies the spirit of resilience and patriotism—she lost nine sons, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren, all of whom gave their lives for the country’s independence and freedom. During your visit, our guide will share moving stories about Mother Thu—her courage, her sacrifice, and the powerful reason she sent all her loved ones to defend Vietnam. It’s not just a monument—it’s a tribute to the strength of motherhood and the soul of a nation.

The best tour hands down that my wife and I had in Vietnam. Thanh was very knowledgable and well versed on the tour we learned a lot. Lunch was excellent and sharing stories with him was a pleasure. The tour can be emotional at times especially the massacre site. I highly recommend anyone to do this tour it could not have been better a big thank you to thanh and buddy tours.
