Villa Geno, located in Como, on the eastern shore of Lake Como, is a historic residence renowned for its privileged location and its architectural beauty. Villa Cagni Troubetzkoy, located on the shores of Lake Como in Cernobbio, has a fascinating history dating back to the nineteenth century. The villa is named after the Troubetzkoy family, of Russian origin, who owned it and helped shape its charm. The residence is an example of neoclassical architecture, typical of the historic houses of Lake Como, with an elegant facade overlooking the lake waters. The Troubetzkoy family was closely linked to the European aristocracy. The Troubetzkoys were known for their cultural influence and ties to the world of art and literature. Some members of the family, such as Prince Pierre Troubetzkoy, were well-known figures in the artistic and literary world, strengthening the villa's link with culture and art. 5.00Simply the best way to see the beauty of Lago di Como, skimming over the serene waves 🌊 with Captain Alessandro 🧑🏼✈️and his witty jokes! Starting from the banks of Como Town, you get whisked to various villas on a luxurious speed boat, allowing you to peer into the extraordinary dwellings of the rich and famous, all from the lake! Sadly Mr. Clooney had popped out for some instant coffee when we visited his villa… After some wonderful historical facts from the most charismatic Captain you’ll find in Lombardy (Captain Alessandro), we visited various Villas and Hotels, before being treated to a small glass of Prosecco 🍾 on the lake… Fabulous villas, wonderful vistas and an excellent way to see Lago di Como! (The only downside is that my girlfriend now wants us to buy a villa on Lake Como)!!!

5.00Alessandro was the best captain and tour guide! We had a fun time checking out the famous houses and sites along the lake. He came prepared with slideshows showcasing the popular properties too! Mulled wine and prosecco were a great touch. 5 stars all around. We booked for late November so make sure you do a day time ride before the sun goes down if you do the off season because it can get a little chilly. There’s also a few restaurants right across from the dock to have lunch. It was a good little day trip to Como from Milan.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on this boat cruise. Although it was chilly and a bit windy, we got to see some beautiful villas along the lake and enjoyed some Prosecco in front of the Versace villa. Great value for the money!

5.00This tour was excellent. Mario checked us in and helped us onto the boat, he was very friendly. We shared a boat with a lovely lady from Australia. Captain Alessandro was so nice and welcoming. He knew about the history of the lake and houses surrounding it. He has a great sense of humour and the trip was not only informative but it was fun, he made us laugh. The Prosecco was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this trip. I salute you Captain Alessandro “Keep it real “

3.00The boat tour was good, but I would not book with Getyourguide anymore: too expensive and poor service. An accidental misbooking allegedly could not be corrected, although we contacted within 10 minutes of booking. The tour itself was a bit shorter than promised, without a hot drink and quite cold in an open boat, but thanks to Alessandro very entertaining and informative. Take warm clothes with you and book directly, then this is a recommended excursion.
