We had a great day at Las Caletas! We went with 7 adults and 4 kids. There was so much to do. The kids loved the adventure park and donkey rides. We all loved swimming, kayaking and seeing the animals. The food was plentiful and good.

At first glance, you see the large two piece boat or so-called catamaran, and you instantly feel like cattle on the big cattle boat. But as you get to the island, the negative aurora you held onto in the early morning boat ride is erased by the island park. There’s a good amount to do and not do, if that’s what you want. Beautiful beaches and after horrible food at the Royal Grand Park Vallarta resort, this meal on the tour is excellent. It really was good. Recommend for families.

We had a very nice day. Pleasant boat ride, good intro to Scuba lesson, and then time to do the other activities at Las Caletas. We especially enjoyed the banana boat and the wave rider. The zipline looked fun too, though we didn't do it. Would have liked more time to spend at the beach. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because they had trained sea lions penned up in tiny pools, definitely not a kind way to treat them.

Vegan families - this one is for you! We saw whales and dolphins on the boat… when we arrived at las caletas there were tacos with black beans and veggies. Tons of beach spots to chill on hammocks and nooks. For lunch a great salad with nuts and veggies, more refried black beans and chips. Lots of bars everywhere, I recommend the strawberry margarita, best I’ve had in Mexico. They don’t provide towels but you don’t really need one because there’s lots of seating available. Towel would just be a nice to have as a bonus. My only complaint is the photographer. We just liked 1 of the photos and wanted to just buy 1 digital photo that could be emailed to us. She refused and said we must buy the whole package or nothing… why not make some money instead of $0? That was a temporary bummer feeling, but the rest of the staff was great. Recommend just taking your own photos because they wouldn’t sell individual ones.

The boat ride was safe and fun and the staff were great. The beach was small but not crowded and the food and drinks served were good. I was VERY disappointed in the massage I booked though....I booked and hour and the girl was 3 mins late and stoppped with 10 mins left so I got a 47 minute massage, not 60. She was also not very good (literally massaged the small of my back for 40% of the time when I showed her where I wanted more at my neck). The massage setting was lovely but not impressed with the amount of time I got nor the masseuse herself and it was not cheap! Skip the massage!
