The entrance to Machu Picchu is only valid for the day the ticket is issued. We will help visitors who have missed their turn, as long as it is on the same date of entry that their ticket has been issued.

What To Expect
Aguas Calientes
Taking this private tour means that you will be able to choose a time, between 5:30 am and 3:30 pm, to receive your guide and depart by bus from Aguas Calientes. After a 20-minute drive to the top of Machu Picchu hill, you'll enter the archaeological site and begin a 2.5-hour tour of the ancient Inca citadel, characterized by its stepped hills, resident llamas, and dramatically jutting mountains. Enrich your historical knowledge at prominent archaeological sites such as the Main Temple, the Royal Tomb, and the Sacred Plaza, and capture spectacular photos at vantage points on the way to Puerta del Sol and the Temple of the Sun.
Machu Picchu
A private guide means you'll be able to ask plenty of questions and customize your itinerary to suit your interests. Also, your guide will be more than happy to take pictures of you and your group during the experience. After a thorough exploration of the most famous archaeological site in South America, you will return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

He met us at the bus stop in Aguas Calientes to go up to Machu Picchu, and once there, explained at every stop the historical significance of each rock and structure. He’s a great storyteller, historian, and also a great photographer! We have so many great memories of this trip because of Martín. Highly recommend you book with him!

5.00Our guide was deeply knowledgable, not only about the details of Inca culture and technology, but about the spiritual dimension as well. He was really something of a philosopher as well as tour guide, and responded knowledgable but also thoughtfully to our many questions. He gave us plenty of room for our own contemplation and was generous with his time. He seemed to appreciate that though we wanted some good photos, we also wanted to just be as fully present as possible in this magic place.

5.00Amazing, start to finish! Yudi was a fantastic guide! She was so knowledgeable and efficient! She knew all the best spots for photos and made sure we got a ton of pictures. She was so helpful answering our many questions about everything from plant life to history and more. We are not very athletic and she made sure we moved at a pace we were comfortable with, giving us breaks as needed. Would 100% recommend!

5.00This was a truly incredible tour. Whatsapp communication was very good. We were met at the hotel and taken to the bus up to Machu Picchu where we met our guide Martin who was just sensational. The ticket was for the classic route 2 through the Citadel and Martin's knowledge and enthusiasm for the place was obvious. He also took some amazing photos for us and there was no rush, we had loads of time to absorb the surroundings (and climb up and down a lot of steps!). Thank you Martin for an incredible experience
