What To Expect
Cusco
The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel early in the morning (from 05: 30 to 06: 30 am approx.) From the city of Cusco, you will travel to Ollantaytambo train station for one and a half hours in a private car. Afterwards, board the tourist train to Machu Picchu village (1.40 minutes tour) where our transfer will be waiting for you with the name of the company.
Aguas Calientes
Once you reach Aguas Calientes, board a bus to Machu Picchu where your guide will share all the necessary information about this world wonder. This tour will last approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, enough time to take all the necessary photos.

5.00The Machu Picchu booking was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Very well organized from the hotel pick-up in Cusco, to the spectacular/pictureque bus and train ride to Aquas Caliente, and the final bus ride up to the top of Machu Picchu. The views were breath-taking and spectacular, too. We had the best tourist guide, Miguel Angel, who spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the history of site. He was very punctual and professional. He met us at the train terminal and ensured that we made it on time to the train to return to Cusco. EXCELLENT experience. Highly recommend it to everyone!

2.00When first arriving into aguas calientes by train we were delayed by 1.5 hours due to a train derailment. There were no issues with the weather so not sure what caused this. We had reservations to Machu Picchu at 12 pm but didn’t make it into aguas calientes until 12:45 pm. Fortunately the tour company was organized enough to make rearrangements and still get us in for the main attraction so we thought okay it’s fine that we were delayed because at least it all worked out anyway and was actually really beautiful. BUT THEN we were supposed to return back on the 6:20 pm train. That train was delayed for 4 hours…there were very little updates on when we would be boarding the train so we were standing around in the station which also lost power midway through but then finally we were called up at 8:12 pm. We got onto the train then sat on it for an additional 2 hours until we finally took off at 10:28 pm. By the time we got onto the bus to make it to our hotel it was 1:45 am when we should have been back by 10 pm. The tour itself was great and props to the organizers of the tour for being able to change up times and still be waiting at the train station to pick us up that late at least they didn’t leave us stranded but the whole train situation was absolutely awful. No refund was provided whatsoever.

5.00Tour very well organized! The guide was very competent, bilingual (English-Spanish). Bring hunting mosquitoes because it it itches a lot after being bitten. It's a breathtaking visit, it's memorable!

5.00My friends and I had an amazing experience! Commit to Machu Picchu was organized well. Especially train rides. Drivers , staff and our personal tour guide were polite and very friendly. But of course the most important experience was visiting Machu Picchu. Incredibly beautiful and unique place!
