• Don't underestimate the altitude - but the experience is worth it

  Hiking Rainbow Mountain was a truly unique and unforgettable experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking (from the beauty and from lack of air). The altitude is no joke—we definitely underestimated how challenging it would be. Several people in our group, including ourselves, felt the effects of altitude sickness, but the guides were attentive, supportive, and professional throughout. They checked in regularly, kept the mood light, and made sure everyone was safe. If you're planning to do this trek, come prepared—but know you'll be well taken care of. Also, the 8am start is great because the hike down you're essentially doing just with your group and nobody else, that made for quite a unique experience.

  We were lucky the weather cooperated. The nature is awesome. So beautiful. Magnificent. We were thinking to forgo this trip for the worry of overextension. However, it is so worthwhile.

  It was nice day trip that didn't start too early. Also, our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and the locals. They were also very helpful for those that were having issues with altitude sickness. I would highly recommend them.

• My Memorable Experience at the Rainbow&Red Mountains Peru

  I had an excellent and an amazing trip to the Rainbow & Red Mountsins Peru.I had a professional Tour Guide Ronaldo who thoroughly explained what activities we have on our way to the Mountains.He was very friendly,courteous and professional at what he does.At the beginning of our trip he checked and took our oxygen level and Heart rate making sure we are all going to be physically fit for our hike to the mountains.This tour is not for everyone who is not physically fit since it’s very high altitude and much climbing to do in able for you to see the Rainbow Mountsins. Please be mindful that the Rainbow Mountain is about 18k feet above sea level of which this particular tour there is much physical activity involved.Ronaldo is very professional in explaining what to expect prior to embarking this remarkable journey..Ronaldo was very nice and accommodating that he offered all of us the group a nice delicious Peruvian bread of which we picked up in our way to the mountains.Also this Tour includes a nice snack given at the beginning and after the Rainbow Mountains visit we were brought to a nice Peruvian Restaurant surrounded by mountains..I would highly recommend this particular tour but be physically prepared as this is not for everyone who has altitude and heart problems..Bravo again for Ronaldo for a job well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
