This is a quality tour experience with limited guests. It is available usually only as a private tour (15 places).

1.West Bank Tour Route (from Visit Derry)

This tour walks around the varied street art and murals of the West Bank of the city. It includes the historic political murals of the Fountain and the Bogside Gallery, but also the more recent non political murals including the must see Derry Girls Mural, the Factory Girls, the Derry Lama and the Undertones .

2.East Bank Tour Route NEW (from Ebrington Square)

We will take a walk on the East Bank of the city, from the Peace Tree in Browning Drive, through part of St Columb's Park, along the Limavady Road, through Bond Street, the Ebrington Factory and Waterside Library (formerly the Workhouse), before returning and visiting Ebrington Square. You will learn about the city's saint, St Columba, see some Loyalist murals, visit the sites of a former shirt factory and the former workhouse.

We really enjoyed our tour with David who toured us through the murals and Bloody Sunday past of Derry. He was informative and quite unbiased too. A very bright guide with lots to share.

We had a fascinating two hour private walking tour with David. He is very knowledgeable about the history and social aspects of the city. Although the focus of the tour was the Cityside Street Art and Murals, we asked to hear about the city today and the lives of people in the different communities. David answered all of our questions and offered us balanced insights, helping us in gaining a better understanding of what went before, during and after for the women, men and children of Derry/Londonderry. We left David with better perspective, and increased optimism for the future of the city and its people. We don’t hesitate in recommending David’s tour to you.

David just completed an in-depth personalized private walking tour for Artnauts- a collective of artists (mostly from the US) exhibiting in Derry at UVArts. I have to say, his knowledge of Irish European history is an endless treasure trove. From the Fountain to the Bogside, David’s capacity to provide overviews and depth improved my storytelling ability for years to come. Did a rail trip by train from Belfast Firstly did 2 audio tours along the waterside and then the City Walls ; it was useful for learning the history and setting the scene for the ‘live’ tour I joined David for the walking tour of the murals and street art Great insight and history as we walked around the Fountain/Wapping area and then Bogside David really brought the area alive and helped me understand Derry today

David, our guide, was punctual and polite when he met us. He was the perfect guide - honest, friendly and direct. He answered everything we wanted to know. David's usual tour route is a perfect way to see the city lights of Derry/Londonderry at night and is perfect for those looking to experience something a little different than an ordinary city tour. David also has plenty of tips for museums and other local sights so make sure to do this tour as one of your first things in town. Tour duration was good. Can't recommend highly enough! 10/10!

Did the evening tour. David was excellent giving great insight & history along different points of the tour. Fantastic having a resident of the city showing us around his city. A pure class tour if you're visiting the town and looking for something interesting & enjoyable to do this is the tour for you.

This was my third walking tour with Derrie Danders and the first evening one. David is a very knowledgeable and interesting guide who has an obvious love for the city.. I thoroughly recommend his tours for anyone keen to learn the history of Derry. The evening tour was something special.
