We visited Kotor with another couple as part of our Viking cruise itinerary but wanted to see more than the old town and hired Royal to assist us. Andro was our guide/driver and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. As we had already had a tour of Old Town, we wanted to use the rest of our day in Montenegro to see other areas and sites. Unfortunately the roadwork prevented us from going to Budva but we were able to travel to several other towns and got a good look at the varieties of terrain, lifestyles and beauty that exist in Montenegro. Our tour lasted about 4 hours and we took a small motor boat from Perast to see the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks, we walked around this picturesque old town and then drove to Porto Montenegro a very modern and beautiful contrast with designer stores and huge yachts at the marina. We ferried across Kotor Bay and enjoyed the chance to view the Bay from many elevations. Our guide was friendly, helpful and clearly loved his country. He shared many stories about Montenegrins and we appreciated that .

This excursion was simply awful. Worst I’ve ever experienced. From the start the guy that got us onto the mini bus didn’t seem to know exactly where we going to go. He mentioned road construction on the route. More about that later. We were told and it was advertised that we would have a tour guide and be meeting that person later. We never did and our driver didn’t speak English. We spent over 7 hours driving to the one thing we did see The Lady of the Rocks. These guys knew that we wouldn’t be able to see anything else due to the road construction but they didn’t bother telling us that. The construction had obviously been going on for quite some time so there must have been many other travelers duped by these guys. I would give them negative stars if I could. My Viator excursions have always been very good but you didn’t vet these very well.

Went to Budva instead of Kotor due to ongoing roadworks. The old town there was really interesting and worth spending more time. The old town in Bar was great too. I liked the tour as it is much more preferable than sitting in traffic for hours. The guide was excellent.

Not well thought tour. Driving one hour to see Budva for half an hour. Drive another hour and a half to see large lake and have a boat ride (you have to pay separately) and get back to the cruise ship. Your guide was not very knowledgeable about her history

Total waste of time. Took about 3 hours to get from Bar to Kotor. There was no tour guide talking as there usually is, so we had no idea what we we looking at for 3 hours. We were told the man's uncle died and therefore there was not a narrator. We only had one hour in Kotor before heading back and had to spend 15 min of that waiting in line for a bathroom. We asked for a refund but we're only given 30% refund.

Kotor is TOO far. We spent 5.5 hours just getting there and back (road construction). Worse yet, the guide cancelled due to a death in the family) so we were left with only a driver who didn’t speak English!) we were given a 30% refund but this is not enough. NONE of us would have taken this trip if we had known what to expect. Unacceptable!

This was by far the best excursion we have ever done. Having been on many shore excursions from cruise ships - this was far superior. Andro was an excellent guide who was passionate and very knowledgeable about Montenegrin history and the areas we visited. The trip was truly tailored to us as an individual party and we had a really personable and memorable experience. Our guide took us to local spots that weren’t overcrowded by tourists so we really got a true cultural experience. We could not recommend this service and our guide Andro enough. 10/10. Thank you for helping us make so many memories. Janice, Emily and cat

Did not give it a 5 star because we were not able to go to Kotor as advertised due to road work and time constraints. We enjoyed our tour with Petar our driver, who educated on the history of the area. Summertime is very busy with lots of tourists. I would love to come back to Montenegro and spend more time off season when there are not so many tourists and more time to spend at the sites. Beautiful place!

Kotor is an amazing port with so much to offer. Our guide did his best to show us around but was limited by local traffic due to road construction. Travelers should be aware that this may alter their plans at this time. We loved Perest and the boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks Church. Our guide was able to arrange a boat ride for us with no wait on a busy day. He then drove us around the Bay, across on a ferry, and to the new marina where we had lunch. We ended with a spectacular viewpoint and enough time to explore the Old City. I was disappointed we were unable to visit Budva but understand the traffic limitations. Kotor is absolutely beautiful!

Petar was a great tour guide with good historical information of Montenegro as a whole and gave us options of what to do and our interest's on the tour. We had a boat ride on Skadar Lake, quick tour of the little village by the lake. Then a nice drive with scenic stops for photos on the way to Stari Bar. Stopped at the oldest olive tree and then back to the coast area for an amazing lunch at Pino del mar with an amazing view and great lunch. He got us back to the port by 3:45 pm.
