Visit the most important monuments of Córdoba on a 3,5 h - 4 hour guided tour to learn more about the Christian, Muslim and Jewish influence in the city.
Important note: Due to renovations, interior rooms at the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos are closed. The visit will include the historic gardens, the Columbus monument, and the Caliphal Baths — a unique space reflecting the splendour of Córdoba’s Islamic past.
Skip the long lines to the 8th-century Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba and marvel at its forest of columns and double arches. Admire the mihrab (apse) of the former mosque, and then take a stroll through the Jewish Quarter to visit the Arabic market and bronze statue of the medieval Sephardic philosopher, Maimonides.
End with a tour inside the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, one of the primary residences of Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon.

The tour guide was an incredible fountain of historical knowledge. The history of Cordoba is ancient and fascinating. The Grand Mosque is in itself a wonder and should not be missed. The sheer scale of it cannot be described adequately in books or pictures. It must be experienced in person. This tour is excellent and should not be missed. One tip for those on the tour: if you have your own ear buds that you normally use with your phone, bring them with you. The disposable ones you get are not very good. The clarity you will hear with your own will significantly improve your experience. This is not only for this tour, but any that use a receiver to hear the guide.

Even though the pouring rain, we enjoyed this tour. We were fortunate enough to have a small group to begin with. We did have the guide turn up his volume on his speaker , and he did which helped big time. The mosque is incredible and to hear the history really helps to appreciate what you’re looking at. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had an excellent tour of the mosque/cathedral, Jewish quarter, and an added on / impromptu visit to one of the decorated patios characteristic of Cordoba. The latter was in place of the Alcazar, which was closed for restoration. Our guide, Azara, was an extremely knowledgeable young woman from Cordoba. She was a font of Information and listening to her was like drinking from a fire hose. She had deep knowledge of the history, architecture, and culture of the sites we visited, and she was able to field every question we had, again, with very deep knowledge. I was actually glad for the substitution of the Alcazar with the patio visit as we learned about the very interesting patio, living and patio culture of Cordoba‘s past, as well as the ongoing competitions done in the city to maintain the beautiful patios and that part of their history and culture. Well worth learning about! Really enjoyed this tour, and would highly recommend, especially if you can get a Azara for your guide.

It was an amazing tour! Paloma was the best tour guide I have ever experienced by far. Obviously loving her job and city she walked us through the history of Cordoba and the sites in a logical and comprehensive way. Patient, friendly and respectful. The sites are breathtaking on their own but given life by Paloma. Thank you !

The guides, both José and Ruth, have been fantastic, they have given wonderful explanations. I don't think it's right that I make a reservation to see the mosque-cathedral and the cathedral and that they know that the cathedral is closed and continue to offer it and at the same price, when they should withdraw it from the program and what they offer in return for another lower price.

We took our tour on Dec 30, 2025 and it was fantastic. Our tour guide Paloma was excellent. She warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable. She brought Córdoba’s history to life during our visit to the Mezquita-Catedral, the Jewish Quarter (La Judería), and the beautiful gardens of the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. When the Alcázar was closed for construction, the company seamlessly adjusted the itinerary and included a visit to the Roman Baths, which added even more depth to the experience. Also, when queues were long, Paloma remained engaging, making it feel like it was a short wait. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour by Oway tours and our guide. We highly recommend Paloma.
