5.00Whatsapp exchanges to book the transfer very easy. The agency is very responsive and responds immediately. The 5h transfer went very well. Driver on time, nice (he bought us on the road Omani specialties for us to taste) Practical also to be guided across borders Good value for money I recommend this agency!

5.00Yahya was great and very accommodating picking us up in Dubai from our hotel, dropping off in Muskat (to our hotel) then again on our way back to Dubai airport. He helped a lot crossing into Oman at the border as well which was helpful as we only know English. Very friendly, punctual and good communication on meeting points prior to pickup, etc. We would recommend to anyone looking for a private driver!

5.00My flight diverted from Dubai to Muscat due to heavy rain and flooding. I was rebooked the next morning but all the flights were getting cancelled so I emailed this company to see if they were available in case I needed a ride. They responded quickly. My flight was delayed many times so I decided to call. They were there within 25 minutes and waited for me to be able to leave the airport. It was quite the adventure with lots of closures and flooded roads. We were denied one border crossing due to the flooding so backtracked to another. We finally got through. Then one more really deep flooded road we finally made it after 7 hours. Turns out I wouldn't have made it if I didn't call this company as my flight was finally cancelled. Thanks so much for getting me here when I needed to be.

5.00We took a private transportation from Dubai to Muscat, we had a wonderful driver Mohamed who was very serviceable and helpful, we had some issues with our visa that delayed us by more than 3 hours at the border but Mohamed stood by us and help us with all the officers very patiently and always hopeful that everything was going to be alright. The service was so great and we felt so secure that we asked for Mohamed to drive us back to Dubai. We super recommend the service provide by Oman taxi Tour.

5.00Yahya was very good!. Good driver and willing to help. We ask if instead of taking us directly to Dubai from Muscat, if it was posible to drive to Khasab and spend the night there and he had no problem at all.

1.00DO NOT use this company! I was traveling alone and wanted to go through Oman to Dubai, so thought this would be a good / safe option. The driver was very nice in advance coordinating, but the day of the transfer was a nightmare! The pickup at the airport was mostly good, and the car was clean, albeit a bit older and had strange plastic covers on all seats. I informed him that I was running late and needed to be in Dubai for a 4pm tourist excursion (another Viator one!), but after 10 minutes into the trip he stopped for gas. I thought this was odd to stop so soon, but he bought me chips and snacks from the station, so I thought ok. After about an hour of the 5-hour ride, he asked me if I smoke. I said No, I have asthma, and he continued to drive. After another 45 ins or so, he stopped. He asked me if I needed the restroom and I said “No.” He went and proceeded to smoke for 5-10 mins. When he returned to the car, he reeked of smoke. We then arrived at the border crossing. There were lines of cars going through gates, but he insisted to me that it was easier to go inside. So we went inside and he started to talked with an agent in their language. I asked what was going on, and he said that the agent said Omani drivers could not drive passengers across the border to Dubai. He started speaking to another agent who seemed to be saying what the first agent said. I asked the driver what was going on, and he said the laws must have changed and he was not able to cross. He gave NO indication that he was going to work it out with them and cross the border. I had no idea what they were saying and was scared I would get stuck there or have to go back to Muscat, so saw what seemed to be a tourist couple getting stamps and asked if they were going to Dubai, and if they would take me to my hotel. They said yes, no problem. I told the driver I expected a refund and left. After making it to Dubai, I texted the driver about the refund and he objected saying that I chose to go with the couple instead! I fought back and forth with me about otherwise making the trip and how he drove 2 hours. I finally quit arguing with him and put a refund request through Viator. Viator responded that he is saying I chose to go with the couple instead. Why would I do that when I paid $400 for the service with him!! He had every chance to avoid this bad review. My apologies for such a lengthy commentary, but I want you to be able to make your own decisions. The fact is, he completed ¼ of the services, is argumentative, and unwilling to refund, so at this point, this is all I know how to do. I am disappointed in Viator’s position on the issue as well. Buyer Beware!
