We went to watch La Traviata on 15.12.25. It was a fabulous experience. Stripped back with no chorus and an orchestra of a piano, violin and a cello. The result was entrancing. The soprano was magnificent and the two male singers strong too although their acting ability was perhaps less so. The setting and intimacy of the performance is what sets this apart. We moved through 3 rooms in the Palazzo during the evening and the singers are often standing one metre from you singing at full opera volume. Wonderfully emotional and moving. It was all in Italian so we had to try to interpret it from the acting but as usual in opera it doesn’t end well. Great fun and worth trying out.

Great experience where you get to see live performance within hands reach. true immersive opera experience. However, there's no subtitle to interpret the presenter which is usually in Italian language. If you do not understand Italian, then you could only gauge the narrative.

The location was easier to find than expected if you are staying near St. Marks square or along grand canal. Music was fabulous, both instrumental and singers. Great experience and would highly recommend.

If you love music and unique experiences, this is for you. Opera sung in an old palace in an intimate setting was magical.

A pretty little palace whose decor fit well with the subject of the opera (La Traviata). Very good performers, very convincing, especially Violetta who gave a lot of emotion to her role. Being close to the singers was very interesting compared to a performance in a large concert hall, however, the sound was not always excellent (pieces too small to support the power of opera singers (except for the scene in the 2nd parquet living room and fabric hangings, which toned down the volume of the singing a little to make it perfectly pleasant). Nice evening!

It’s a real opera in an intimate space. The theater is gorgeous and the musicians are great. A memorable experience in Venice.

This was a beautiful experience in an intimate setting. The vocalists were of the highest quality. You should know these are private showings allowed for members only, so when you arrive you have to fill out your personal information on a card to become a member. They won't let you watch the performance if you don't fill out the card and sign it.
