What To Expect
Drogarati Cave
Kefalonia's Drogarati Cave was found 300 years ago and opened to the public in 1963. It was discovered after a big earthquake caused the cave's entrance to collapse. Drogarati is a spectacular cave with amazing stalactite and stalagmite structures. This cave, according to speleologists, is roughly 150 million years old and represents a remarkable geological phenomena. The cave is roughly 60 meters deep and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The cave's humidity is high. This is a great opportunity to take beautiful photographs, that you will treasure forever!
Melissani Cave
Beautiful and fascinating, Melissani Lake is one of the most stunning highlights of Kefalonia. In the Lake Melissani, you buy the ticket (not included in the price). By boat you will be taken around the lake to the closed part of the cave (approx 30 minutes), passing the islet where the excavations had taken place. At the walls, there are Stalactites and flowstones with bizarre shaping, some with a resemblance to dolphins, as the boatman will point out, dolphins play a role in mythology. The lake of Melissani has not yet revealed all its secrets. The water is brackish as many springs supply the lake cave. One of them is the source "Katavothres" which is located on the other side of the island near Argostoli. Part of the cave’s roof collapsed a few thousand years ago due to an earthquake. The daylight falls through this opening, showing the colour of the lake in its deep blue sea

5.00We had an amazing day, our guide Giota was super fun and knowledgeable. She managed to fit in two other stops which were amazing too. I highly recommend going with Giota and i plan to revisit as our time was limited as we were on a cruise.

5.00Kefalonia is a wonderful island. It is worth a visit. Especially Myrtos beach I have never seen such a beautiful beach. Then Giota is an exceptional guide showed us the beauties of the island and told its story.

5.00Giota was an incredible tour guide, so friendly and thought of every detail! She gave us information about the island as we drove and amended the tour so that we went to a beautiful and safe beach where we could easily grab lunch and make the most of our time. The sites themselves were beautiful!

5.00What an excellent tour organized and run by an excellent company. Many thanks to our driver George whose driving and knowledge is excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Will use this company again for other tours they offer.
The driver was overpromising travel plans he could not deliver. Also drivers mostly in that agency do Not speak English

2.00This travel agency has members of the staff who they do not speak English. Particularly a guy from Pakistan who he does not speak a word of English he puts a Sale pressure on us, insisting that if we buy a trip to pay: £100 pounds each he will show us: Asos, Fiscardo, Saint Gerasimos, Saint Andreas and Myrto. Which it was empty promises. Basically the guy wanted to get the commission from his boss. In the end all we had time to see it was only: Fiscardo, Asos and then as we had not time to see Saint Gerasimos (however it was 15 minutes away from Argostoli) he dropped us off to a lame, local wine tasting (he did not drop us off to Saint Gerasimos wine tasting, as he had promised). During the trip the driver from Pakistan was insisting that I had to sit on the front seat, and to leave my husband on the back seat. Of course I did not comply. In a another trip we went with the same driver from Pakistan he was insisting to sit next to him and my husband to sit next on the window in the passenger seat. Thankfully my husband understood and he refused to comply to pressure that driver put for me to sit next to him. Also this driver he put pressure upon us to talk to his boss, to choose him among other local drivers who they worked in the agency, because he said he had gain more qualifications than the rest drivers. In the end it turned out that he was speaking hot bubble air. He over promised things he could not deliver
