You’ve never felt the power of Niagara Falls like this before. On our tour you will get to ride on their all-new, fully electric boats to truly experience the rush from the 600,000 gallons of water falling per second. Come feel it for yourself. So, when you set sail on the Maid of the Mist, you’re not just getting iconic views. You’re also taking the ride of your lifetime. “A favorite Niagara Falls State Park attraction for more than 150 years, the Maid of the Mist journey begins at the Observation Tower, where guests are given a souvenir rain poncho to wear and board the double-deck Maid of the Mist tour boat. From there, the boat ferries past the base of the American Falls, and onto the basin of Horseshoe Falls--the dramatic passage leading you through the roiling waterfall whitewater and massive rock formations. The Maid of the Mist returns guests to shore with newfound appreciation of the power and grandeur of Niagara Falls. “– NYS Parks
Cave of the Winds
The Cave of the Winds trip takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible. First you get to enjoy the exciting new indoor multimedia experience, the World Changed Here Pavilion. You get to see and experience a fun educational 8-minute movie that immerses you back in time where everything with the Falls began. Before you get to ride down the elevator 175 feet (53 meters) deep into the Niagara Gorge you will be given souvenir poncho. (In the past the gave sandals for during the experience now as stated on their website they have changed that policy. “As we work to ensure that we are doing our part to care for the Earth, we have phased out distribution of the famous Cave of the Winds sandals. Please bring footwear that can get wet.”) After you descend down the elevator you will then follow a series of wooden walkways to the famous “Hurricane Deck”. As you stand at the railing, you are a mere 20 feet (6 meters) from the billowing torrents of Bridal Veil Falls.

We had two great days at Niagara Falls. One very sunny and one very wet. A storm came in on the second day. Our experience/tour was on the stormy day. Our guide was a good sport and we continued with the falls experience. Very friendly. Very motivated and engaging. Very informative. The tour makes it very easy and consolidated to do the key parts of the visit to the falls with no hassle or challenges. We had no pressure or were rushed during the tour. We had a wonderful experience overall. I can see that if we had a great time and were able to do all 4 parts of the experience in the rain, that with a sunny day it would have been even more exciting. We stayed on the Canadian side of the falls. We enjoyed the falls from both sides. Going back and forth through the borders was not an issue at all, even with the government shutdown. The only minor issues were meeting up with the guide and some communication issues with ticketing that the company was actively involved with. I think this was mostly weather related and the company can not be faulted. The National Park on the U.S.A side is great and there is a lot to do either during the tour or after the tour. Other than a parking fee (which will be required on either side of the falls), walking the trails and enjoying the falls from the islands is fantastic and very much encouraged. There is a very simple but extensive trail system within the U.S.A. NP. There is easy access and short treks to the edge to see the Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and American Falls from different perspectives. One could easily spend the entire day on the U.S.A side. Also, don't forget that each evening the falls are lit up with a light show and there is a fireworks show over the American Falls each night. The evening events are best seen from the Canadian side.

It was one that I've never experienced before. The way we got so close to the falls, the history we learned, and our tour guide Steve, was all amazing!

Guys, this tour is not worth the money. You can visit all the places yourself and buy tickets on the spot, and it will be much cheaper this way. The waterfall is simply incredible, it's worth a visit, but for the sake of economy, you can do it yourself. The guide actually just showed you where to go, and you can do it without him.

Steve was very knowledgeable! He answered questions. He made sure to talk to each person on his tour individually so he could find out their interests and preferences. He kept the tour moving and on schedule. He was aware of persons needing extra assistance and respectfully dealt with their needs. He used his microphone consistently so we could always hear what he was describing. Steve was a very good tour guide. The tour was well organized so each part flowed seamlessly into the next part.
