  What a great tour for the family! Our guide Fusan was so fun and very knowledgeable. It was wonderful having her walk us through Ephesus and provide all the historical knowledge about what we were seeing. The included lunch was delicious! We would definitely recommend.

  Trust Selenay to show you the best places and introduce you to wonderful people to make your day a magic experience. Ephesus is of course one of the best archeological sites you can visit anywhere in the world, but make sure you include in your visit the recently excavated terrace houses. They give you such a clear insight into day to day life in ancient Ephesus, or anywhere in the Roman Empire for that matter. Selenay then took us to a leather factory where a fashion presentation was organized for us; we watched the manufacturing process and then were able to see the amazing finished products: the softest leather, the most amazing designs. We also visited a carpet weaving facility - I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Not only that they had all the patience in the world to show us every aspect of preparing the wool and the silk and of the actual weaving; they explained how they teach the local people these techniques, keeping the old traditions and culture alive. You will seldom encounter friendlier and more welcoming people!

  I bought this experience as a birthday present for my dad and I'm so glad glad I did! Very good value for money. We had an amazing guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The terrace houses in the city of Ephesus was our highlight. We also really enjoyed the Turkish lunch. For anyone who doesn't like being pressured by sales people, maybe skip the rug store - although it is interesting seeing how they are made.

  Our tour guide, Ceren provided great insights not only into the ancient Ephesos, but also the everyday life of Turkey. She is super knowledgeable and overall a wonderful person. Our driver was also super professional and the Mercedes minivan splendid. We saw everything we wanted to and had a great lunch at a local place where afterwards we saw the weaving process along with some rugs presentation. Thank you!

  This private excursion to Ephesus and lunch was excellent. Our guide Sel (Selany?) was outstanding, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. The day was went so smoothly and stress free. The day did not feel rushed at all.. perfect timing for all of our activities. The local lunch was delicious and very filling. Our driver was also excellent and helped me to get in/out of the suv. Would highly recommend Curio travel.
