Capture the magic of the northern lights. Immerse yourself in the vastness of the Arctic on a nighttime expedition dedicated to photographing the northern lights. Guided by local experts passionate about photography and science, this adventure allows you to experience one of the world’s most amazing natural spectacles and capture it in memorable images. We will start the tour in Abisko, where we will have a delicious dinner in a local restaurant (included). Unfortunately because of bad weather conditions the tour was cancelled which is understandable. We were informed and stayed in contact to Jesús the whole time. We are glad that he was fair and honest. We'll come back. :-)

I would like to sincerely thanks this tour operator Jesus for his professionalism . He did let me know about the chances of northern light and did not proceed when there’s little chances of seeing the northern light. He is a thoughtful person and also a very detailed and responsible person who always keeps updating me about the situations. I did have a chance to see a little bit of the northern light thanks to his selflessness advice Will surely book again if I visit abisko again

This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I'd always wanted to see the Northern Lights, and admittedly we got really lucky - we saw them a mere 10 minute drive away and it was an insanely good night for them (we went in late September). But it wasn't just the incredible light show that made the night. Jesus was a wonderful guide. The dinner was tasty and it was nice to get to know everyone. Jesus was fun and knowledgeable, sharing what he knows about the lights and the history of the area. He took plenty of professional quality photos of us and the lights which he then shared with us. And he even gave us warm lingonberry tea while we sat on a warm reindeer skin enjoying the view. Plus he knows the places to see the lights from a photographer's point of view - he took us to a place where they reflected off not one but two lakes. It was truly a dream come true - such a special night that still makes me smile when I think of it. I highly HIGHLY recommend this tour.

My daughter and I had a spectacular and gorgeous tour with Jesus, the guide for this very eventful night. I have some physical constraints and he was very solicitous and helpful in getting me situated in the perfect spot to witness the lights. He brought us to a special place near two lakes where the stars and the Northern Lights reflected in the waters in a magical way. We are very grateful that he made this experience better than we could have imagined.

Despite some cloudy and windy weather, Jesus made sure we saw the auroras. He even pulled over during high activity for us to see a strong substorm. We ended the aurora chase by the lake where it was an unobstructed view of the sky exploding above us in fractal patterns. To keep us toasty during the continuous winds, he brought out warm drinks and snacks. Dinner before the chase was also lovely, getting to know the other passengers. His photos are fabulous and a part of the tour. He also has a great playlist to set the mood as you are chasing around for auroras. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for northern lights, you can count with Jesus for sure ! He has a good instinct and could find the lights even with lots of clouds in the night sky. He will also explain how it works with passion. The dinner at the Moutain Lodge was very good too and local ! And the day after, he gave us beautiful photos of that night, great memories to keep !

Excellent experience! Jesus was a terrific guide, informative, friendly, and focused on seeing the Northern Lights. We had zero cloud cover but needed the other factors to fall into place. He was checking his app at dinner and asked if we wanted to skip desert as the conditions would soon be good (per the app). We all agreed and saw some spectacular lights! Even though it was early October and we were dressed warmly the winter suits he let us use were very welcome. As was the hot lingonberry tea!

Jesus provided us with the most incredible Northern Lights experience possible. No one cab control the lights, but Jesus provided us with the best possible way to enjoy them. He guided us to a location off the beaten path, because he knew that it could provide the best viewing position. He got as ready as possible for the moment the skies exploded. He then guided us on how to take great pictures, and he took amazing photos with his professional equipment and shared them with us. Jesus taught us about the northern lights’ science and about the local mythological stories. If you want an amazing northern light experience, I highly recommend you go with Jesus.

I'd been wanting to see the aurora for years. We finally decided to chase after it. We could not have found a better operator to go with. We went on two excursions with Jesus and went to different stops each night. The activity begins somewhere between 7-8 pm where you get picked up from your hotel. There are a maximum of 8 people in each tour and it's very personal. Jesus lets you know in advance what time he’ll pick you up based on aurora activity. Dinner is at Brasserie Fjällköket in Abisko Mountain Lodge in Abisko village. They serve reindeer meat but also have a fish or vegan option. The second course is dessert which was different from one night to the next. Everything was delicious. About an hour after the start of dinner, between 8:30-9 pm you set out on the chase tour. Jesus uses an app and communicates with other operators farther away, if needed, and decides how far is needed to drive. You might stop at 2-3 locations based on activity. He also has warm overalls to wear over your jacket and clothes, which help a lot with the cold weather. He had hot lingonberry juice and ginger cookies for us, which he gave us halfway through the night. On the second night, he set up a camping spot and a fire. He took photos of the aurora and people with the aurora in the background. He sent a link to the photos after the activity. He made sure everyone was satisfied before heading back. We headed back at about 12:30 am each night. Jesus was more than a tour guide. He treated us like friends. He was very easy going, informal, and accommodating. Many of us took his tour more than once.
