What To Expect

1. Select the transportation service you require and please consider Model and type of vehicle will be assigned upon availability and the number of passengers. 2. Provide the following information: Full name, flight number, pick-up date and time, and phone number. 3. Save your voucher. Print it or save it on your phone. 4. 48 hours prior to your ride, you will receive your driver's contact info. 5. 24 hours before, we will provide you with the meeting point info to meet with your driver. 6. Meet your driver at the pick-up location. 7. Present your voucher and I.D. to the driver so properly driver can validate your voucher/ticket. 8. Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 SMALL carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs, or bikes) may have certain restrictions; please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable. 9. Please consider the storage capacity for luggage based on the number of passengers. For larger groups with larger items, multiple vehicles may be more appropriate.

The driver helped with our luggage and made good communication prior to our pick up. Driver never spoke to us once.during our almost hour drive. I asked him a question to strike up conversation to ask about the area but he didn’t respond. The car smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and a cockroach fell from the ceiling at one point.

Our driver was great, however the company listed the wrong phone number for our contact info so we did not receive any prior meetup instructions and waited for about an hour at the airport trying to contact our driver. Spent several calls with customer service who were eventually able to connect us to the driver. Once we found our driver, he was kind and very apologetic. Once in the car, the trip was smooth.

I am somewhat disappointed. Usually a Viator Airport transfer is a very nice vehicle, considering the higher price paid and not a Toyota minivan or UberX equivalent. Additionally, the driver, although nice, was NOT a licensed taxi or car service driver. That was extremely disappointing and I felt we were being transferred at an unnecessary risk for us. If there had been an accident, I would have been on the hook with my personal insurance.

Our flight ended up being three hours late and Jared the driver was very accommodating. We waited only minutes for him to come pick us up. His car was clean. His driving skills were very good and it was a hassle free experience.
Best ride to Manhattan that I’ve ever had. Ask for Sue!

The whole experience was easy. Sue not only texted with us after we arrived but was able to pick us up right where we exited baggage claim. I have had a few cars drive me from the airport to manhattan but Sue was by far the best driver yet.

Somehow, the driver had the incorrect time of the flight arrival, so he wasn't there when we were ready to leave the airport, however, after contacting him, he was able to get to the airport pretty quickly (within 30 minutes) to pick us up. He also didn't have the meet and greet sign that I paid an extra $15 for, but I'm not sure where the blame falls there. Hopefully I can get a refund for that. Overall, the driver was great and professional and got us safely to our accommodations. The minibus was also very clean, comfy, and was spacious enough for all 10 of us and our luggage!
