Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters
This underground bunker was where the Japanese Navy headquarters was set up during the Battle of Okinawa, and served as an underground base to protect the Oroku Airfield. The kamaboko-shaped tunnel was reinforced with concrete and wooden stakes, and could accommodate approximately 4,000 soldiers.
