Great places visited but guide’s English was so bad I don’t believe she even understood what she was reading!

The sights by far beat our expectations! It was a long day, but every place visited raised our awareness of the beauty all around us! Just when we thought we had seen the best after visiting the volcano at a mid station, what a surprise to visit the National Park and see the incredible waterfalls! Highly recommended!

Save more than 30% compared to a cruise ship excursion with a tour that coincides with the arrival of a cruise ship. From departure to arrival, this Yellow Penguin tour was no different from a ship-sponsored tour. They will wait for you to leave until all applicants have gathered. We had a meeting at 8:30, but due to the tenders we had to leave at 9:40, but there was plenty of time and it was appropriate. Lunch is not included, so you can either take a break or wait until you arrive. We had a bite to eat at a cafe in the national park on the way, but most of the people who went to the restaurant after we got back.

An interesting excursion despite moderate weather. Nice guide, good vehicle. Price half of the ship's offer (OCEANIA). Back on time at the ship. Recommended.

Karin and Maris were wonderful! Patient, personable, and very informative. Karin had brochures to supplement her answers to our questions and made several stops for photos. Highly recommend.

Our guide was so knowledgeable! And such a pleasure to listen to. We were very late tendering in from the ship and she waited! We were very appreciative of that.

Nothing in the description said we would go up the volcano to the ski area. From there you can take the chair lift up a little ways. Or hike the trail. Or stay in the cafe have coffee and empanadas. The waterfall park tour is just buy a ticket with your credit card, and walk 1000 meters down the trail to overlook platforms. Can't get so close to the waterfall, but you get the idea what it's like. There were a couple stops along the drive to take photos. Then a drive through Puerto Varas, which is the nice town in the area. I think I would have taken the other tour that visited the german settlement. Not much around Puerto Montt. Tour guide described port area as run down, and it was.

For a cruise port, this was an excellent option that gave participants a nice flavor of the area. Maria, our guide, was excellent! Omar, the driver, was very careful and attentive.

Our tour guide Darla is a sweet girl. She gave us enough of time for each stop . We did everything on the itinerary. It was just some people in the group didn't come back in time that's not under her control. We made it back to the ship in time.
