This was a great excursion, and it was a very comfortable and not too exhausting. There is a lot to see in Chiloe, and the tour guide did a great job of making sure everything was clear. The penguins were great and adorable, and every stop was worthwhile.

Probably an 8.5/10. Good communication to arrange pick up and then the evening before. Fun boat ride and interesting to see the penguins on their islands. First stop in a quaint village square and good views from the last stop at the fort. Good to see some of the island, but inevitably quite a lot of driving and didn’t see the need for a second craft shopping experience. Need to factor in the boat trip and lunch costs, although these were mentioned beforehand. Think the info. beforehand also mentioned a max. of 14 in the group, but this doubled.

Even though the distance that I needed to travel was quite long, the others were increíble. The guys(Javier, Eric) were super friendly, penguins were extremely cute and the overall of Chiloe was more than I expected. Highly recommend

Well paced and enjoyable tour which Jenny and driver Pablo ran like clockwork. Visited pretty villages with opportunities for photos and to buy local crafts and food if required. Boat to see penguins was great, lots of penguins and other wildlife to see but need good camera to get quality photos. Lunch was delicious, especially King Crab. The tour costs about an additional $70-80 with gratuities.

What a shame, the optional tours advertised by VTE of Sernatur (Puerto Montt 5-night trip and Peulla 2-night trip) were not fulfilled, which is why we decided to buy it in April. Upon arrival at year P. Montt, we were informed of another program. The optional activities not taken were: "Petrohue Falls..."; "Cochamo Tour"; "AUSTRAL-HORNOPIREN Highway". YES, it was very, very nice to be at Hotel Natura Patagonia in Peulla. Hotel Costa del Mar in Puerto Montt, just right for its "ideal location for getting around" but very, very dangerous and not very welcoming.

Despite confirmations from Viator the day prop to our trip, the tour operator did not show up or let us know they were not coming. We only found out after they didn't not pick use up by clicking an obscure link to contact the operator and got a message saying that the tour was canceled. No email. No text. It was too late to book with another company.

Nelly the guide was amazing. She was kind and informative. She spoke English and Spanish and was able to keep the group on time. She pointed out wildlife to see. The penguins were so cute 😃

It was good to travel to Chiloe and we had a nice small group. From the ferry we say sealions, dolphins and pelicans among others. The trip on the boat to see the penguins and seabirds was lovely in the sun as was lunch on the beach (we were not told until afterwards on observing that the price we paid was higher than that shown on the menu that we had an "inclusive" and desert had been part of that so we went back and ate desert). It was the end of the penguin season but we saw about a dozen. The stop times in other places were very short.

It was a pretty nice experience. After they finally picked us up at our hotel as was originally agreed, we went to see penguins on a boat in the ocean and the boat guide explained everything about the two types of penguins and all the birds that inhabit the islands. The lunch was really nice and the other stops were also nice. We went to the Ancud museum which was also nice and walked around the downtown Chiloe Island. Overall it was an enjoyable tour and the guide and driver were informative and nice.
