Do you like Pasta, Pesto and Tiramisù? This is the right class for you to learn how to make from scratch our local handmade PASTA (Trofie), their condiment (PESTO Genovese) and, to forget the stairs you took to get to my kitchen, the creamy TIRAMISU', according to the traditional technique and to the recipe of my grandmother.
The experience takes place in my XVI century private home in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre) located in the village center where my dog Ettore and I will welcome you with a glass of prosecco.
After few steps you can appreciate the stunning view of the village and the sea from the roof terrace on the 3rd floor of the building.
The characteristic colored tower-houses are built following the steep orography of the hill and give a fantastic glance above all from the sea.

STEP 1 (MAKING TIRAMISU'): In this section you learn how to prepare from scratch your best traditional tiramisu. Five ingredients and it’s done! It’s easy but not too easy. STEP 2 (MAKING PESTO): In this part of class you’ll prepare from scratch the best pesto you’ve ever tasted. Seven ingredients to match for this fragrant condiment. STEP 3 (MAKING TROFIE PASTA): Do you like challenges? This one's for you. A traditional Ligurian pasta handmade with only 3 ingredients. The secret art of making our local treasure. Enjoy the dishes you prepared with a glass of white wine and share conversation and a relaxed vibe with other guests.

By far our favorite experience so far in Italy. Our host Luca welcomed us into his home and made us feel like we had known each other for years. The cooking experience was amazing and will be utilized extensively with our family.

Luca was so kind and patient. He has a great sense of humor as well. Enjoyed learning in his kitchen. We were lucky enough to have a private class making trofie pasta and pesto as well as tiramisu. Although making the pasta shape was quite a challenge for us(ha ha), it still tasted amazing. Thank you so much Luca.

Though our host was knowledgeable, he did not make us feel at home. We learned how to make tiramisu, pesto and Trophie pasta. When we arrived, our host was annoyed with us for not responding to earlier emails. We tried to explain that our internet was down due to a storm. The host also made us leave the home to go to the bathroom, which made little sense given that the class lasted three hours. The host was well prepared and the class hands on. We beat, pulverized, squeezed and kneaded to create a delicious meal. We learned about olive oil and Italian cheeses.

Luca was a fun host and it was a very enjoyable experience. We made a delicious meal and there were a lot of laughs. You must be prepared that there is NO restroom for use during the experience and lots of steps to get to the apartment.

Luca was very welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable. He was an excellent host. The experience was well organized and we had a great time making all three things. The meal turned out delicious and we can’t wait to try to recreate them at home. May be difficult because his ingredients were so excellent, but we will try. Highly recommended.

If you want a true, authentic experience, don’t think, just book! We had such a wonderful time in Luca’s charming home learning how to make traditional dishes while enjoying wine and exchanging laughs and stories. You have never tasted pesto as divine as you will have at this experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want a truly authentic experience.

We had a wonderful evening learning how to make pesto and tiramisu with Luca! It was an intimate setting in his apartment that had a beautiful view, and Luca was funny, nice, and engaging. The meal ended up being one our favorites and definitely the best pesto pasta we have ever had!
