Your guide will greet you at your downtown Halifax Peninsula accommodations. You will then head towards the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour from Halifax.
Once you arrive at Peggy’s Cove you will have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse).
At the end of your tour at Peggy’s Cove, your tour guide will drop you back off at your Downtown Halifax Peninsula hotel.
Trip is 3.5 - 4 hours depending upon traffic and your pick up.

5.00I never thought I would visit Peggy's Cove in the winter and I am so so grateful that I did. It's a true frosty and glittering gem that deserves to be seen all year round. Seeing it in the calmness of off-season when nearly no one was there to disturb the quiet was mystical, magical, and ethereal to say the least. Our tour guide, Jack (I believe, it was a few weeks ago), was incredible. I think he knew everything there ever was to know about the region and he has a gift for story-telling that made the wealth of information so much more fascinating and intriguing than it already was. It was really nice that he stopped at a beautiful photo-op on the way as well. I loved my experience and would absolutely go again, perhaps in the summer next time. My tips for visiting Peggy's Cove in the winter are to pack tissues for the cold-weather runny-noses and dress very warmly! Also, if it looks like snow on the rocks, it might actually be DEEP snow and your leg will plummet down a meter so snow pants or planning your steps very carefully on the rocks will help you avoid getting covered in snow. Depending on the time of day you go, pack a meal or prepare to leave the site for food, as nothing is open except the washroom during the winter! Have fun, be careful, and enjoy Peggy's Cove; especially if you are lucky enough to visit her at a time of year when few do.

5.00Great tour. Cynthia was excellent, very informative and relaxed. Stopped at the Swiss Air Disaster Memorial before going on to Peggy's Cove. Started on time, ended on time picking us up and dropping us off at the cruise port. Highly recommend.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Our driver did an excellent job and her commentary was informative and delivered well. I feel bad but I think our guides name was Lilah or something like that. Would strongly recommend this tour to others especially as this is a small group tour (not a big bus).
