The El Calafate Glacier Boat Tour is the most extensive boat tour available in Glaciares National Park.

Onboard a modern cruise vessel, your group will sail across Lake Argentino and visit the Upsala, Spegazzini, Perito Moreno, Heim, and Seco Glaciers. It’s the only boat tour that allows you to see all five of the park’s main glaciers in a single day.

During the tour, you’ll also take a one-hour walk through the forest on Puesto de Las Vacas, a small island in the Spegazzini Channel. To finish, you’ll enjoy a delicious Patagonian meal served onboard.

The tour offers three transportation options:

Tour with transfers + Perito Moreno visit: Includes the boat trip, round-trip transfers from El Calafate, and a visit to the Perito Moreno walkways. Highly recommended!

Tour with transfers: Includes the boat tour and round-trip transfers from El Calafate.

Tour without transfers: Includes only the boat tour; you’ll need to get to the port on your own.

Everything was well organized and according with the expected. I only would recommend to the ship staff to not allow the passengers to go to the back of the ship, because someone could fall in the water.

  • We loved it.

This was a fabulous experience. The tour was very well run, seeing 5 glaciers from the lake was spectacular.

Everything was well organized. Great glacier and ice berg views! However, the sandwich was bad and the coffee terrible. Surely not a "Gourmet" tour

  • Great experience, but an additional one needed to make it complete.

A great overview of several glaciers from the Lake Argentina vantage point. You will see Moreno from the north. To have a more complete picture, take another trip that includes Moreno hiking— it is worth it. You will see Moreno from the south. Also you may have some time in the park visitors center from where you can enjoy yet another perspective at Moreno.

  • Unique Tour Experience!

Unique experience, friendly guides, good lunch! The glaciers are fantastic, and the tour is paced nicely so that nothing is rushed and everyone can get plenty of pictures.

It was a great comfortable ride to see 5 different glaciers including the most popular one (Perito Moreno). we also got off the boat on an island for a small hike. The meal was a box lunch (sandwiches with sides) but it was a lot of food and it was good. It was nice to be able to come inside the boat when it got a little cold. The staff was great.

The whole experience is unlike any my family and I have experienced in our life. The scenery was breathtaking—the icebergs, the glaciers, the incredible nature surrounding all the magic that makes Patagonia one of the natural wonders of the world. The cruise organizers were knowledgeable and professional and organized a great meal for us on the boat. The professional photographer took incredible pictures of my family. The whole experience from pickup to drop off was more than 5 stars.

If you're planning a trip to El Calafate this is a must-do activity that combines awe-inspiring natural beauty with comfort and excellent service. You get a chance to view all five iconic glaciers—Upsala, Spegazzini, Perito Moreno, Heim, and Seco in one day. Views were breathtaking and onboard commentary (done in both Spanish and English) provided great insights. This tour is incredibly well-organized, with plenty of time to enjoy each location. We chose an option with transfers and disembark at Perito Moreno and pick up and transfers were seamless. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Patagonia!

The meal is a box lunch, acceptable, but definitely not gourmet . The boat travels 220 km, visiting 3 glacier: the tallest, the largest, and the most popular of the Glacier National Park. The boat was excellent, as were the guides. The short walk was very pleasant. The views are spectacular, including the forms of the many floating ice masses, broken off of the glaciers, that populate the journey.
