It's a packed boat and very crowded. The crew on board is doing a great job. Too bad there are so many tourists.

Overall Phi Phi islands are a must see, and the tour was ran amazingly. The only downside is just how busy with tourists there are, which can’t really be helped

beautiful islands, with Maya Bay, Viking Cove, Bamboo Island.... the speedboat transfer can get a bit rough but no problem, the guides are great and good that you are nowhere alone should be clear

pros: Guide is experienced. Informing information needed everytime. Quite good experience in cheap cost. Communication was excellent. Drive from and to hotel was on-time, smooth cons: I think in general, phi phi island journey, during the boat stops, there are many other boats, it smells quite a petrols there. Jet ski in general, you will get splashed by water. so, think through and get raincoat or have swimsuit ready.

Our pick‑up was right on time, which got the day off to a good start. I’d read comments about the restrooms and they’re not the best, but they’re not terrible either — definitely not enough to ruin the experience. Once you get to shower at the beautiful beach afterwards, you quickly forget about it. Our tour guide was outstanding and really made the day special, even though it rained on us for most of the tour. If you dislike large crowds, you might prefer a private tour, but it’s worth knowing that every beach you visit will have a lot of people regardless. Lunch was just okay, but overall I still enjoyed the day and appreciated the guide’s effort to make it memorable.

It was a nice tour. A lot of the negative reviews are because of the weather and/or crowded places but that’s not the tour company’s fault. The tour was well organized and the guide looked after us at every stop. The lunch was good. We stopped at one place to swim and another for snorkeling. If it’s rainy, bring a poncho and anti-nausea/anti-vertigo meds because the boat was definitely very rocky due to the bad weather. We thought the tour was definitely worth doing, the landscapes are beautiful

Not recommended. The places visited are completely crowded and you are dumped in droves for a photo and carted on. This experience has nothing to do with idyllic nature sightseeing. So far for the general event, here everyone can decide for themselves whether this “have seen” one is worth the break and stress. In general, the guides on the tour were friendly, but the places on the speedboat were quite squeezed. 400 Baht pp you have to pay extra on site as entrance fee for the area. But especially bad for us were the included pickup and return. We stood in front of our hotel at the time discussed and were egged by the operator that the driver would be there as well. We received the taxi number and a photo, but could not find it anywhere. During our 45-minute wait in which we tried everything (calls, sharing our location, photo of the front of the hotel) other guests were picked up from the hotel. After 45 minutes we were notified of another taxi number and the driver (who was already at the hotel regarding other guests) was utterly outrageous and blamed us for the late pickup (he had previously asked for 4 men with their explicit names, we are 2 women). Even after we described the facts, he remained rude. On the way back, he watched TikToks while driving (not just during traffic jams, but while driving). When asked in what order he would drop us off at the hotels we didn't get a correct answer at first. When it turned out that he first wanted to drive to a hotel that was over an hour away (oneway) while we were just 10 minutes walk from our hotel, he refused both to drive to our hotel first and just let us get off. After we were 30 minutes walk from our hotel it was suddenly we could get off. Since the alternative was a 1 1/2h ride with a TikTok-looking driver, we decided to run.

The location is lovely, but these tours shouldn’t go ahead when the weather is poor. We felt bad for the guides, whose livelihoods clearly depend on the tours going ahead (and tips). Definitely not worth it if you’re just soaking wet all day long. Lovely tour guides tho. Next time we’ll check the forecast before booking.

We booked this tour and attended on November 20, 2025. Because the weather that day was extremely bad—heavy rain, strong winds, and rough seas—I genuinely expected the company to cancel for safety reasons. They did not. We were also told that if we cancelled, we would not receive a refund, leaving us with no real option. The problems began immediately. The driver picked us up late, and when we arrived at the meeting point, the scene was chaotic—overcrowded, unorganized, and lacking any clear structure. It was obvious from the start that the company was overwhelmed and unprepared. Once we boarded the speedboat, the experience shifted from concerning to genuinely dangerous. The water conditions were severely choppy with very large waves, and it was raining with poor visibility. Despite this, the boat was managed by only three young staff members, all appearing to be in their early twenties. Not once did they enforce or even mention wearing life jackets. Within the first ten minutes of the ride, I wanted the experience to be over. The anxiety on board was overwhelming—not just for me, but for everyone. The boat repeatedly slammed against massive waves, tilted sharply, and continued at high speed despite the dangerous conditions. There were elderly passengers and two very young children, no older than five, and everyone looked terrified. As someone from Miami, familiar with boating and experienced with numerous excursions around the world, I can confidently say I have never felt unsafe until this tour. On this day, I truly feared for my life. What made it worse is that the staff had already warned us about the poor weather and even advised us to buy raincoats—yet they still proceeded as if conditions were acceptable. Adding to this, the structure of the tour itself was disappointing. You are only given about 30 minutes at each island, and at some stops, you can’t even get off the boat. To make matters worse, more than 40 speedboats from different companies all head to the same island for lunch at the same time, resulting in complete chaos, congestion, and a very unpleasant experience. Overall, this was an extremely unsafe and poorly managed excursion. This company should not be operating in heavy rain or dangerous sea conditions. People’s lives are at stake, and safety should never be compromised. I strongly believe this tour should have been cancelled, and I hope this review encourages the company to take responsibility and make serious improvements before someone gets seriously hurt.
