You will be seduced by this unique site nestled in the heart of the Cognac vineyards in Charente and its shady orchard which will shelter your lunch in the heart of nature. A little extra for the little ones: activities and games for children are available free of charge on request at reception !

What To Expect

After a private visit-tasting of the estate, you will take the time to savor a gourmet picnic basket based on local products under the coolness of the walnut trees in our orchard! The visit-tasting (about 45 minutes) will introduce you to the orchard of 2,500 walnut trees, the production and harvesting of organic walnuts, and our processing workshop into kernels and virgin walnut oils. The visit ends with the tasting of our virgin walnut oils and other walnut specialties. Then we install you in a quiet and shady place under the walnut trees where you can taste the "homemade" picnic, based on local and seasonal products! In addition, you can choose your cold drinks: sodas from the island of Oléron, artisanal fruit juice, Pineau des Charentes*, local beer* or Charentais wine*, and order your coffee, tea or herbal tea. (*Available from the age of 18. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume in moderation. )

Picnic on a pretty table set under the walnut trees in a quiet and green setting. We were with our 20 month old grandson who was able to enjoy the environment safely. The meal was excellent with local produce and homes. We were very well received and had a real relaxing time. The shop allowed us to bring back good products. We will return to it.

What a pleasure to have a picnic without having to prepare anything; to taste local products made by the Walnut or other local craftsmen and all out of the sun under the walnut trees. The icing on the cake the chocolate and nut brownie extremely light. The tasting that follows the visit is a pleasure for the taste buds , as for nuts and uax oils they are .....no I don't tell you ....go there to form your own opinion
