Hosted by tour company Vigilante Guides. As a 12th generation New Mexican we take pride in culture and history and want to share a piece of our everyday life on this tour. This is a fun and informational experience that is all inclusive. We talk about our unique culture and heritage, our amazing food and drink, art and outdoors and everything else in between. This is an experience unlike any other where you truly feel like a local. We have fun, interact, and enjoy each others company while we eat and drink some local delicacies. Oh and yes, come hungry, you should be adequately fed by the end of this tour.
On this tour you will stop at 3 locations and try a variety of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and margaritas along with some amazing pizza and tacos.
We will walk away as friends and show you the true Santa Fe experience.

Here we go over the history of New Mexico and Santa Fe and highlight all the cool and unique landmarks of Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. We talk about the culture, the architecture, the food, the churches, and all the great things that make Santa Fe so special.
Georgia O'Keeffe Museum
Here we stop and highlight the Georgia O' Keeffe Museum and talk about how she help put Santa Fe on the map for artists from all over the world.

The Perfect Introduction to Santa Fe

5.00The tour guide confirmed our activity via text message the day prior, which was greatly appreciated. We received clear instructions on where to meet, and Jirard was able to find us promptly. He introduced himself to each guest and was professionally dressed in a company-logo polo. Throughout the tour, Jirard shared both a detailed history of Santa Fe and his own family’s history, which was especially meaningful given his ancestral roots in the area. The walking route was well-paced, with thoughtfully planned stops along the way. It’s clear that Jirard takes great pride and joy in his work. Before arriving at each food and drink stop, he offered a small menu of choices, each more than enough, and upon arrival, we were seated and served promptly, keeping the tour’s momentum smooth. Jirard’s knowledge, paired with his honesty, made us confident in his post-tour recommendations, which we gladly followed. This tour truly enhanced our appreciation of Santa Fe and everything it has to offer. We left wishing we had booked the following day’s tour to Taos with Jirard as well. If you’re planning a trip, make sure to take one with him, you won’t regret it! I’d suggest this tour to couples/singles, but not to those with young children.

5.00Had a great time on this tour, it was a small group (2 couples in my group, plus one other couple on the tour) and we felt that we got a solid foundation of history for the area (do be prepared for a lecture up front), plus a great tour of the plaza area of Santa Fe. The stops for food were perfect (good variety, definitely got full!), and the drinks were amazing (you should choose between drinking at every stop vs driving after - if you can walk from hotel, that is best). Excellent local feel and vibe, highly recommend.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour from beginning to end! Jerard did a great job of sharing the history of Santa Fe and making it a fun experience. He pulled the group together: we started as strangers, left as friends. The 3 food/ drink stops were all tasty and unique. Highly recommend! A must when visiting Santa Fe.
