Good for avoiding crowds, we guide small groups that give you a more local immersion personalized experience. The quality of our guides, wines and the wineries visited stand out from other tours.

The tour begins with a visit to a port wine producer: Quinta da Roêda. There will be a personalized guided tour on the vineyards where the process of making the port wine will be explained. The wine tasting will be accompanied by a careful selection of Portuguese cheeses.

After tasting, we will embark 1 hour boat ride where the calm of the river will inspire us. This soothing ride is the best time to contemplate the landscape and nature of the Douro Valley.

Lunch is served in a beautiful farm overlooking to the vineyards where there are several food options: fish, meat or vegetarian. Everything are included in the price.

The second winery is a small table wine producer, It will be an interesting opportunity to have more contact with the locals. The visit ends with an olive oil tasting.

Really great day - Pedro, our guide, was great and incredibly knowledgeable. Would have been 5 stars but the second tasting wasn’t great - but the guide, morning, the river tour and lunch were 5*.

A good opportunity to explore a little of the Port wine part of the country with a small group. Easy and fun. Alex (our driver and guide) picked us up from our accommodation and was friendly and helpful and fun throughout.

We had such a great experience with Marcel as our guide! We went to 2 beautiful vineyards where we tasted lovely wine + port, and had a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch at a beautiful inn. The day was broken up by a boat ride along the river which even despite the rainy day was so beautiful. Marcel took us to great wineries that we would not have been able to get to on those big tour buses, a huge benefit to the small group tour. Would definitely recommend to all looking for an intimate, professional, memorable wine tour experience!
Cut out the boat ride and the rest is Perfect!

Our tour guide was fantastic, and the wine and olive oil tastings were absolutely superb. However, the boat portion of the tour was quite disappointing. We were placed on a boat where none of the crew interacted with us, and instead, we were given a recording to listen to during the ride. The boat simply traveled down the river, turned around, and returned to the starting point—making it feel like a missed opportunity and a bit of a waste of time
