5.00We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's 17th birthday yachting down Portugal's Douro River. Our tour guides were awesome. I believe their names were Gilberto and Leo. They were knowledgeable, personable, and funny. We even caught the "golden hour" as we returned to port. The charcuterie and "green wine" were enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience and would heartily recommend the Atalaia Gold cruise to others.

5.00We had a fantastic time on the boat. The Portuguese snacks and wine were excellent and the whole experience felt relaxed and special. Gill and Ines were superb hosts, offering a great mix of history, local culture and genuinely engaging conversation. Both were incredibly warm, welcoming and personable, which made the trip feel more like time spent with friends than a tour. Highly recommend.

5.00Excellent experience, super fun group and the team was amazing. It was 2 hours of top landscapes, good music and sharing experiences with people from other cultures, in the case of the U.S. and the Philippines. We loved it.

5.00Had an amazing experience despite the rain. The crewmembers were so friendly and informative throughout the Douro river cruise. Also had a chance to try 2 different wines as well as 2 different ports in addition to Portuguese charcuterie. Definitely recommend!

5.00The yacht was lovely and the boat crew were very nice and attentive. We took almost 2 hours along the river and enjoyed the views. The boat pilot knew where to stop for us to get great pictures and enjoy the scenery. The wine was plentiful although the snacks were not as substantial as I’d expected. There are many choices for a river experience in Porto but I’d highly recommend making it on a boat like this one as it’s longer than the options along the river and so much more enjoyable and luxurious of an experience.
