Amazing day truly was with Juan Costa. 8 of us some outlr own private tour on bridge and boardwalk. Juan great telling us about Portuguese history, very interesting. Lunch stop off very hospitable and delicious food/drink. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Our tour director Dani was unbelievably great. He made the experience feel like we were all friends hanging out and just having a great time. The Paiva walkway was about 3 miles but all downhill or relatively level. At the end we had to walk up a giant hill to reach the van and honestly it was probably the toughest part but there’s nothing you could do about that. They parked as close as possible. Walking the suspension bridge was a once in a lifetime experience. Even though it rained the entire time, it seemed to add to the mystique because the fog would occasionally block the view and we were the only tour group there because of the weather. You need to be in decent shape. At least able to walk 10,000 steps. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique tour when visiting Porto. Dani was the best if I didn’t say that already!!!

Excellent, guide João and places 15 points out of 10. Beautiful scenery, tasty food and very picturesque cities. It was in English the tour, but the guide took time to explain in Spanish too. Thank you JOÃO!

Really beautiful and fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Our guide. Joao, was very knowledgeable about the location and history. It’s a small van. Our fellow travelers were lots of fun too! The bridge and trail were not too difficult, but it is not accessible for wheelchairs.

My group had an amazing day on the tour with our guide, Jay. Jay is very knowledgeable about Portugal and its history, culture and people. Jay gave us a dive into the history and even suggested authors and music for us to gain a deeper understanding.

Great day of adventure and fun! Our guide Costa/Joaon (spelling?) was very informative, personable and funny. The day is long but packed with lots of things to see and experience - it passes quickly. The suspended bridge is definitely nerve wracking but provides a beautiful view of the hills, river, waterfalls and nature. The 3.5K walk back to the van is long, hilly, and, since it was raining, very slippery. If your ambulation is limited, you have the option of just crossing the bridge and driving back with the tour guide to pick up the others. Lunch was one of the highlights and we were able to experience some delicious traditional cuisine. We would have liked to spend more time at the beach town (Nova Costa?).

Does everyone have this much fun on this tour, or was I just blessed with the best guide and the best group? Joao was incredible—he seems to know everything about everything. He was hilarious, patient, and genuinely kind, even when we were lost, late, rowdy, demanding or a little crude. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour or time. Pro tip: Wear good shoes with good tread. The boardwalk is very slippery.

It was a great experience- if you like the outdoors and don’t have a car in Porto - this tour is for you! 8km of boardwalks along the the river after crisscrossing the 516 meter suspension bridge. I got over 7 miles of walking in because of the additional 2 afternoon stops. The lunch was excellent- wine- smoked sausage, olives and bread to start , roasted potatoes and cabbage. And to finish little cookies and coffee. Joao Henrique’s (j) Was informative and very pleasant- I’d highly recommend him and this tour
