• Wonderful Wine Venture and Boat Trip in Douro Valley from Porto

  We had a wonderful day experiencing the Douro Valley and visiting two family run wineries along with a boat ride on the Douro River. The tastings and lunch were fantastic! Our guide Jose was very knowledgeable about the region and the wine production. He was fun & made everyone feel very comfortable. It was a small group of 4 couples. Highly recommend this tour!

  Despite the rainy weather, the trip was still fantastic. The wine and food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful. “Jo” was a phenomenal guide. He was very knowledgeable about Portugal, the Douro Valley, and wine. There were some issues with other guests on the tour and he handled them perfectly without letting it disrupt the trip for the other guests. Overall it was a great trip.

  Joe, our tour guide, was amazing. He was very kind and knowledgeable. The wines we tasted and the lunch provided were simply incredible. We highly recommend this tour!!

  Easily one of the coolest tours we’ve taken. Small group of five. After the first winery we all broke the ice which led to such an awesome and intimate coursed lunch at another vineyard with wine pairings. Carlos was an amazing host, making the hour and a half drive each way fly by. He also called ahead for the second vineyard to make sure they had a fuller body red because I had mentioned those were my favorite. Lots of little attention to detail! Would highly recommend.

  The whole day was fabulous and is a must do if you are someone who likes wine. The Douro valley is beautiful, the wine is very good and out guide Bruno made the day very special for us. He was very knowledgeable about the wine and the whole area. We visited two very nice wineries, tasted some terrific wines and had a great meal. we highly recommend this experience!
