Informative and fun. Gerald is a wonderful teacher. He mixes humor into his talk and engages the participants with questions. the other guest were very nice and shared their knowledge of St. Martin with a couple of first timers. The portions of both the wine and cheese were substantial. It served as both lunch and dinner for us.

Extremely educational, delicious & enjoyable. Wines paired beautifully with the cheeses. The history of cheese & the regions where they came from were described in detail. Prices for take home cheese & wines are reasonable. The only glitch is the language barrier. My husband found it confusing trying to decipher a lot of what we were being told. I speak French & had to translate much of what we heard for him. However, we will return for a racquelet dinner on a Thursday evening before our departure from SXM.

We had a great time, tried a big variety of cheeses from different regions of France that we didn’t even know about. It was useful to find out with which wine would be better to combine this or that cheese. Very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for cheese lovers!!! Do not miss this opportunity!

This was a great experience for us. Geraud is the owner and was the one that conducted the education and tasting for us. He was meticulous about informing us about the families of cheeses and what parts of France they come from. They were paired well with two white wines, one red wine, and one cider. All of them were really good (except the stinky cheese) and we even learned the proper way of cutting for best effect. We highly recommend this tasting!

Our tasting was very nice: well cared for, delicious cheeses with matching wines and a nice lady who helped us with that. Highly recommended!

This is not what you would expect as a traditional cheese and wine tasting event. This is better described as a French Cheese Education and Testing event with a wine/cider pairing as you go through all the different types of cheeses from France.

This was so much fun! Geraud gave us so much information about the history of cheese, its production, various French terroirs, and the different types (families) of cheeses. He was very generous…I think we tried eleven different cheeses. The last was a chocolate chili cheese, yum!! The pairings were two white wines, a hard cider, a red wine, and a dessert wine. He told us many cheese “stories” to keep us entertained. He has a beautiful shop that you will definitely want to browse in. Highly recommend!

Lovely tasting with wines paired perfectly to the 10 or more cheeses. The history of cheese, the nine families of cheese, the regions and process of cheesemaking were all explained and deepened our understanding of the selections. A great experience for wine and cheese lovers!! Geraud knows his cheese and enjoys sharing it with you. Deinitely would do this again !!! Thank you Geraud!
