What To Expect
Lerwick
Meet your driver at your chosen hotel or cruise terminal to see the best Shetland has to offer through a local's eyes. We'll take you on a mystery tour around our island home, stopping to admire dramatic scenery, windswept beaches whilst watching out for wildlife. Whichever way we go, you'll be sure to catch a glimpse of a Shetland pony or two! The route will vary from tour to tour, taking into to account the weather on the day so you won't spend a sunny day inside or a wet day getting soaked! If your tour stops at any attractions, admission will be included.
Shetland Islands
Your tour will take you to either the rugged north of Shetland with its dramatic cliffs and rich history, or we'll explore the beautiful sandy beaches and hunt for wildlife in the south. Some tours will head to the west of the island, visiting our ancient capital Scalloway before heading through the scenic valleys of the west coast which are often unseen by visitors.

5.00Maureen was an excellent tour guide for our group of 6. Communication was excellent. I received a message from Robertsons Tours the day before our scheduled activity to confirm our driver, vehicle, and pickup time. The day of, Maureen was 10 mins early and we had no problems finding her at the pier since she had a sign with my name on it. The tour itself was excellent. We saw Shetland ponies, went to multiple gorgeous viewpoints and saw other scenic places + towns as well. We had a stop for refreshments. My group makeup was varied, with myself and my husband, a friend and her significant other, and my grandparents but we all enjoyed the day. Maureen is knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions. I would not hesitate to book again.

5.00Thank you to James for a wonderful tour of this beautiful island. He took us to see some of the most amazing views. He even drove us up any long hills so we did not have to walk them. He is very knowledgeable about his homeland. Take this tour if you want a good look at this beautiful island.

5.00James was our driver/guide and he was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We saw ponies, puffins, archeology sites and numerous beautiful vistas on our drive around the island. Took a break for light refreshments at Sumburgh Head before returning to Lerwick. Beautiful weather certainly helped make it an excellent excursion.
