Follow the path of Apostle Paul, where faith met power, and words sparked a revolution. This is not just a tour—it’s an immersion into history, a step into the very places where Paul walked, preached, and changed the course of spirituality forever.
Stand where empires clashed and beliefs transformed. Walk the same ground where ships, merchants, and rulers shaped the ancient world. Feel the echoes of a time when one man’s words stood against the forces of tradition, wealth, and empire. This is where the past whispers its secrets, where ancient gods and new faiths collided, where the foundations of a movement were laid.
Gaze upon the ruins that once bore witness to Paul’s trials, triumphs, and unwavering mission. Stand where history was made, where a message of hope defied the odds, and where the world’s spiritual landscape was reshaped forever.
This is more than a journey—it’s a passage through faith, courage, and transformation.

The journey begins at the iconic Isthmus of Corinth, a narrow land bridge that has connected the Peloponnese with mainland Greece for millennia. The Corinth Canal, a marvel of 19th-century engineering, cuts through the rock to create a shortcut for maritime trade. The panoramic views and historical importance of this site provide an excellent introduction to the adventure.
The Diolkos
Next is the Diolkos, an ancient stone-paved road that allowed ships to be transported overland across the Isthmus. This engineering feat played a crucial role in Corinth's maritime dominance and remains a testament to the ingenuity of ancient times.

Excellent experience! Our guide Dimitris was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Corinth is about 90 minutes from central Athens, we made several stops with the highlight being ancient Corinth. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience! From pick up to drop off, the entire time was comfortable and enlightening. My family of 6, with 3 teenage daughters, my husband, my mother and myself, all enjoyed it! The sites were amazing and the stops well timed. Everything went smoothly!

Wonderful day exploring Corinth and footsteps of Paul ... Driver was very courteous, knowledgeable, and fun stories! Made the trip memorable!! We especially liked all the 'inside' info from Greece perspective - the personalized driver trip is a bit pricey, but well worth the time and money as you get personalized commentary that large bus tours do not give ... (though I would recommend hiring licensed guide in Ancient Corinth)... And you have freedom to adjust trip to your preferences of staying longer or shorter at a place - We did not feel rushed at all ... Highly recommend!! Thanks Kyriaki (sp)?!!

Dimitrios was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things about out him and his tour. He was a safe driver too! It felt like we were hanging out with a good friend. Pericles Tours is the company he is a part of and we booked through Trip Advisor. Book the tour! Totally worth it!

Wonderful and informative tour with Dimitris! We learned so much from him as we followed where the Apostle Paul travelled and he answered all our questions about Greece in general! The Acrocorinth Castle was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour with Dimitris!

We were more than satisfied with our choice to take this tour. Pericles is very knowledgeable not only of St Paul but also the history of the region and the political environment St Paul found in Corinth. Pericles paced our tour to our needs and our interests.

This was the best experience ever! Our driver was prompt, kind and very knowledgeable about the travels and ministry of Apostle Paul. If you have an interest in Biblical history, do not miss this tour. To literally travel in the footsteps of Apostle Paul is a faith-enriching experience, made even richer by Perikleas’ narratives. You will see where Paul came ashore near Corinth and met Aquila & Priscilla, where he traveled from the shore to ancient Corinth. The stop at the Agora allows you to stand at the ruins of the Bema where Gallio judged Paul and set him free, and see the excavation of the shops (one which is likely where the Apostle Paul engaged in tent making with Aquila & Priscilla). Then we went to the castle at the highest point near ancient Corinth from which the vistas are gorgeous. This private tour was worth the price, and this particular company has such breadth and depth of knowledge about the life of Apostle Paul while he was in Corinth. Our driver spoke excellent English (with the typical Greek accent) and he spoke slowly and always was checking to see if we had questions. If you have only one day to venture outside of Athens - this is the “must do” excursion to take. The personal nature of this tour is fantastic.

I had the good pleasure of having DIMITRIS as my guide. I consider myself a scholar of Religion (Theta Alpha Kappa) but I was so thoroughly engaged by the depth and breadth of knowledge of this young man. He not only brought my Bible to life, but he taught me things (like local legends of Paul being rolled down the ACROCORINTH in a barrel and surviving). He was so patient as I toured the Museum and other places. I think it’s safe to say that we both experienced a sacred moment at Apostolos Pavlos’ Church. Honestly, at the beginning of the tour I was a little let down because I thought I was getting Pericles (who everyone raves about), but before we had even reached Corinth, I knew that I had the PERFECT Guide. Later, I found out he was actually Pericles’ son! Watch out Pericles…Dimitri is a force to be reckoned with! I hope by the time I return to Greece he’s doing the John the Revelator tour. In any event, I will ask for Dimitrus personally. He gets Olympian Gold for his courtesy, knowledge, and professionalism! Angela H.
