When I told him we were interested in literature and history, he customized the tour to include three libraries and lots of historic sites. Kevin was WONDERFUL-- super personable and interesting.

5.00For me, a walking tour of any new city is an absolute MUST. The service provider was excellent as their Customer Service Manager communicated with me to confirm the tour and even arranged for an earlier time slot. My host Kevin was more like a friend, than a guide. He provided a preliminary itinerary before the tour and was prepared to tailor the tour to my interests. He gave me a lot of info and insights to better appreciate Manchester and helped me to better relate to the things I see in the city. My 2-hour tour covered a lot of fascinating history of the what's and why's to understand the motivations and circumstances that shaped the city. Kevin is certainly more enthusiastic about Manchester's rich history and personality, rather than both its famous football clubs. Kevin even shared some tips on places to visit on my own. He's passionate about what he does when he talks about life in the various neighborhoods, the local culture, values and lifestyle. Time really flew by. I highly recommend this walking tour to anyone. Kevin's tour has a bonus at the end, which you'll only discover if he's your host.
