5.00Wow! If you’ve ever wanted to live out the childhood fantasy of being on crystal maze - look no further! Right from the get go when our maze master jumped out from behind the curtain (sorry about my screaming!) we were transported back to the golden age of game shows. The set itself was immense, and felt tv accurate, but what really made it was our maze master Ricky Diamond. The energy, the quick flowing banter, and genuine zest for the job was just what was needed. Thank you so much for an amazing afternoon #eggsandfloor

5.00We booked this quite last minute for a family of three, we all really enjoyed it, it’s worth every penny and the enthusiastic team do a fantastic job. We had Ricky on our experience and he was so energetic and very funny. We laughed the whole time and were fortunate to play without being teamed up with others so we enjoyed more games which was a bonus. Will be back down from Scotland soon for more games!

5.00What an amazing experience! As somebody who grew up watching Richard O’Brien in the 90’s this was something that was right up my street. We were greeted by our Maze Guide Ricky who was charismatic, entertaining and incredibly welcoming before lots of ‘Unnecessary Running’ , being led into the 4 zones made famous in the TV show! All in all we did 16 challenges and managed to bag 8 crystals which wasn’t bad at all for a party of just 2! This is a must for any fans of the TV show and anybody who just wants to spend a couple of hours challenging themselves mentally and physically. My only advice would be to keep your party small, as you want to do as many challenges as possible. I could have stayed there all day.

3.00Perhaps we had expected too much, we thought it was okay. Our usual 45 minute journey into Manchester took more than twice as long, due to significant traffic. So we called 15 minutes ahead to explain the city centre was gridlocked and consequently we wouldn't be arriving at the requested 10 minutes earlier than our booking (arrival 5.05 for a 5.15 booking). We were told not to worry, they were running at least 20 minutes behind, so as long as we arrived by 5.30 we would be fine. We arrived at 5.15 (which was the time of our booking), to be told our game had already started, but not to worry as we wouldn't be missing out, we would just be missing the introductions. After we had signed disclaimers and completed a safety briefing we were taken to our game-master, to be told we had already missed 2 games. It wasn't even half past, so why say on the phone that we would be okay? Not a great start, we found it hard to get into the party-game mood after that, though we tried our best to keep spirits up as this was a birthday gift for one of us. Why say we would be okay when we wouldn't? We would have run from the car park. Why can't disclaimers be completed prior to arrival to save time? The activities were okay, the game-master we were allocated tried hard. For me the best bit was being paired with 2 wonderful people, they were really encouraging and just great sports really.
Fun, fast and entertaining.

4.00Great experience - really good fun. Games were challenging but not impossible. Our 'guide' was brilliant. Sadly not allowed to take phones in and then it was £15 per photo for their 'staged' ones. Having just been somewhere else where staff were available to take photos for free on our own phones, this was disappointing! Entrance fee wasn't cheap for 6 of us and perhaps a small fee for every photo as a download would have been fairer. Would have been good if it was a bit more competitive with other/previous guests. Didn't really know what to aim for. Then it just sort of finished and we were unsure really of the overall purpose.
