Blue Bay Marine Park
You'll head to Blue-Bay Marine park for snorkeling. Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. Sit in your boat and depart for the reefs while feeling the cool day breeze brushing against your skin. Take in the beauty of the surroundings while gazing at the underwater world while snorkeling. You will then stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs. At an average depth of 5.5 meters, with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkeling conditions are ideal. You will have a great view of the reef, fish, and a large selection of corals (there are more than 50 different species of corals at the park!). The Blue Bay Marine Park is home to mangroves, algae, sea grasses, corals, and other marine organisms. There is also a wide variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish.

Be careful – misleading tour description

1.00There are no “multiple guides available” — only English or French. The boat is a normal speedboat, not the “beautiful one” you might expect for this price and the description. No visit to Ilot Flammant, no visit to Ile de Passe, and Ile aux Aigrettes is private, so the cocktail is served in the water, not “on the island.”. There is no beach. The tour lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., so it’s not a full-day experience as advertised. Snorkeling only once, at Blue Bay. I’m giving one star only because of the guide — he was friendly, funny, and kind. Unfortunately, for more than €200 per person, the program was not respected and felt misleading. Bring water shoes and towels. They provide masks, but no fins. Look at the Google reviews before booking — there’s no cancellation policy, and once you pay, even if the experience is different from what’s described, you’ll receive no assistance or refund.

1.00Despite confirming the trip the day before when we arrived at the jetty there was no representative there. No arrangement for the excursion had been made and we had to find another company - Papas Dream Co - to try accommodate us. Messaging the tour operator and calling them resulted in zero response and double costs for us.
