The tour was excellent. We enjoyed the wine tasting and olive oil/honey expediences. Both had wonderful guides and tasting delights. Our guide, George, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us choices along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Great way to spend the day and more importantly have someone else drive! We loved the honey and olive oil tasting. We love the beach but you need to know it’s about a 15 min walk from the van to the beach. They do provide towels and umbrellas and beach mats. But there are only a few places in the beach where you can use your own umbrella. You can rent an umbrella and two chaises for 20 E. There is also a “handicap” van if you need to move older people or people with diminished mobility down to the beach. Ask at the kiosk at the entrance. Our driver George gave us the proposed itinerary and then let us taylor it to how we felt. We appreciated the flexibility! If you want more beach time you may need to cut out something like the cave tour or winery? Up to you.

We loved this tour! Our driver George was so flexible and didn’t mind that we went 2 hours over our time. He was knowledgeable and considerate. I would highly recommend this tour especially if you have George as your guide.

George was great! It is a full day, so be prepared. You can spend as much time or as little time as you want at each place.

Great tour - just our group with a private driver! We really enjoyed the cave, and the wine, olive oil and honey tasting - and lovely scenery along the drive. The driver provided plenty of bottled water throughout the day. The beach was beautiful but we did not see any pink sand - not sure why - and the beaches near Chania are really just as nice. We booked a 10AM tour, but an eralier timeslot probably would allow for more beach time.

This trip was fantastic! George was a wonderful and safe driver on very narrow twisty road. The beach was beautiful and our lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this fun excursion.

What a fabulous tour and guide. Private air conditioned mini bus and great stops. The guide was knowledgeable and we certainly made the most of what Crete had to offer. The honey tasting and beach were real highlights for us as was the lunch stop. Highly recommend and would definitely book again.

It was truly private with just my husband and myself. George allowed us to customize and change things if we wanted but he had a great agenda set up. His driving was safe and top notch. He made sure we had cold water consistently. Elefonisi Beach was absolutely stunning! The cave stop was interesting too. Beautiful cave! A lot of steps so make sure you can handle the climb. George asked at all the right times if we needed a coffee break or whatever we wanted. His English was excellent too. The winery stop was nice. It was a serve yourself so if you like a lot of wine you can get it. We are wine snobs from CA though so very particular. The honey and olive oil stop was an absolute dream!!!! We learned about bees, honey, olive trees and olives. A real beekeeper taught us too. The vineyard and the honey/olive oil tasting both has views of the ocean in the distance. The honey tasting stop was superior. They set up a beautiful picnic bench covered with honeys, cheeses, and a lot more in the olive grove with views of the ocean. That was unforgettable. If I were to make a recommendation it would be to skip the winery and spend more time at the honey tasting. We couldn’t have had a better guide. George is top notch and I hope his tour company recognizes him as exceptional and a true professional that made their company look world class. Thank you Viator and George for one of if not the best tour of our lives.

I can’t recommend this company and our tour guide George enough. We did a full day tour and got to see and experience so many things in one full day (cave stop, Elafonissi beach, local lunch stop, wine tasting/tour, honey & olive oil tasting). Everything went incredibly smooth. George was very flexible and allowed us to maximize our time during the tour wherever we pleased. He was a safe, excellent driver through the winding mountains (we are so glad we didn’t rent a car and do ourselves.) we also asked for recommendations for our last day as we had a late flight out, and George and his company planned out a full itinerary for us and suggested things we never would have seen without their recommendations. They provide everything you need, don’t hesitate to ask they are so accommodating and friendly. 10/10 recommend!!
