5.00I went on this trip with my husband and we absolutely loved the tour! The tour was fantastic firstly because of our awesome guide Alex and ofcourse he gave us a taste of what the local people do and how they live. We did some coffee tasting, cheese tasting and ofcourse bread tasting and visited some very old churches! Overall the entire trip was excellent!

5.00Alex was such an amazing guide! We thoroughly enjoyed hearing all about the history of Greece and Crete Island. His hospitality was incredible! The relationships Alex has with the business owners who we met along the way makes such a difference in our experience. It felt like they were welcoming us into their home.

5.00One of the best tours we have ever done. Alex provided a detailed commentary of the places we visited and gave us so much information about Cretan life. All of the stops were very authentic and welcoming. We tried so many different foods and everything was delicious and very generous! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chania.

5.00This tour was exceptionally well done - from the pacing of the stops to the food and drinks provided, and even the order in which everything was arranged. It felt like an elevated food tour, made even more special because we visited authentic, off-the-beaten-path places that most travelers would never discover on their own. The stop to see how raki is made behind the baker’s shop was especially memorable; it felt incredibly personal and intimate. Yiannis, our guide, was super personable!!

5.00This is a great trip to see authentic life in Crete. Our guide Niko was wonderful. He knew so much about the history, people and culture of Crete and I loved that he showed us naturally growing food plants, herbs and fruits. I highly recommend this tour. And lunch was delicious!

2.00Very early in the tour, one of our party became very unwell and we suspected may need to go to hospital (it ended up being a serious case of food poisoning). They ordered us a taxi which was appreciated although we paid for it (as we were expecting to do). However, when it came to paying, there was absolutely no flexibility on the price despite the fact that we only attended the first stop. In addition to this, we were last minute guests and so took spots that were not in demand. We understand that they should not waive the fee completely, but a price reduction would have been nice given that we did not consume any food or drink after the first stop.
