  • Great and interesting day trip tour!

We arranged a day private day trip to Sintra with a driver and stops at all the palaces. When our guide, Carlos, arrived in the am, he told us that the palaces were all temporarily closed by the government due to fire risk. But not to worry, he had already come up with an alternate plan for the day, taking us to see the only open palace, stopping in Sintra, Cabo de Roca, lunch on the water and then Cascais. It was not the original plan (it was out of our guides control) but he still made sure we had a fun day filled with interesting facts and beautiful sights!

Ww had the most incredible day! Pedro told us amazing stories as we drove through the winding back roads. He was so knowledgeable & we enjoyed our time together. He gave us plenty of free time to explore on our own. I highly recommend this tour!

We had an outstanding day tour with Pedro M. exploring Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. Pedro M. picked us up directly from our hotel in a comfortable van and guided us through a well-paced and enriching itinerary that worked beautifully for both adults and young kids (ours are 6 and 8). In Sintra, we visited the Pena Palace and the Regaleira Estate, and Pedro shared fascinating historical context that brought each site to life. What really stood out was how he tailored the experience to engage not only the adults but also our children—pointing out unique architectural details, fun legends, and hidden elements that made the sites extra magical for them. Pedro M. then took us to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, and finally to Cascais. He was professional, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and a very skilled driver. We felt well taken care of the entire time. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal, and we can’t recommend Pedro M. highly enough to anyone visiting the region.
