This tour was well-organized and perfect for cruise ship passengers. There was good communication with the company and they picked us up and returned us with plenty of time to the end of the very long pier where our Princess ship ported in Puerto Madryn. The drive to Punta Tombo was quite long, however it was well-worth it to get to see the large colony of Magellanic penguins nesting there. It was exciting to see so many penguins up close and learn how they live. Our guide talked about them on the drive so we were informed ahead of time. There were many guanacos in the preserve as well. Beautiful views of the ocean and the Patagonian desert. The bus was mid-sized and comfortable and there were plenty of bathroom stops on the way.

Daniel was an excellent guide! He met us at the pier & off we went for a 2 hour drive to Punta Tombo to visit the Penguins. He was a wealth of information on the history & culture & economy of the area. He accompanied us on our walk through the park & pointed out the best places to see the penguins & take photos. He also showed us some of the other animals around the park. He was very aware that we had a certain time to return to the ship & made sure we got back in time. Wonderful excursion!

Excellent excursion. Had booked the excursion from the cruise port. The guide was waiting at the beginning of the pier with a sign with my name on it. Driven with a Van together with 2 others to Punta Combo. Guide gave clear information and the driver drove excellently. Journey there took over 2 hours (including short pee stop) as well as back. In between stopped for other animals. Experience with the penguins was excellent. Seeing the animals up close in their natural environment. The lunch box with water after the visit was also good. All in all an excellent excursion and is well worth the price!

Enjoyed the trip to the reserve, even if it was a long way. Many penguins were visible, close and far. It's a must see if in Puerto Madryn.

We were scheduled on our cruise to go to Las Malvinas/the Falklands and had planned an excursion there to see some Penguins up close. Bad weather caused our cruise line to skip that stop so they add an extra day in Puerto Madryn but all of the ships excursions were sold out. So we tried Viatour and found this firm. They were exceedingly helpful at arranging a last minute tour for us. It wound up being just the two of us getting a private tour and so much better than an excursion with a huge bus full of people! Our driver and guide Sergio, was awesome and spoke very good English. He was also very good at spotting things to see and pointing them out or we never would have seen the Ostriches on the beach! A much better value, service and experience than the excursions offered by the ship! Highly recommended! Punta Tombo was an amazing experience and should not be missed! Romina who handled the booking was great too and checked in on us at arrival.
