What To Expect
Peninsula Valdes
Whale season: from June to mid-December. We leave early for the protected natural area Valdés Peninsula, meeting the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, where we will visit the Interpretation Center, from its viewpoint we will have the possibility to observe both gulfs at the same time, the geographical characteristics of the peninsula and the Island of the birds.
Puerto Piramides
In the only urban center of Península Valdés, we will not only walk and know its beautiful history, but between the end of June and the beginning of December we will invite you to make the wonderful whale watching

5.00Thank you and your company really earned your name, Animal Travel! The guide, Verena, is super knowledgeable about biology of each of these animals. Driver, Nabal is an excellent safe driver. All of the staff waiting for us at the port were very friendly and helpful. The tour was for 12 of us in a 15 passenger van, very comfortable. Verena was able to pay for our entrance tickets in a few minutes so we could spend more time touring - ran very efficiently. With the limited time, we were still able to visit Punta Pyramida at the end of the tour. Lunch box is a good way to save time and pretty good. Thank you for bottles of water. Verena also talked about wine, asado, culture and Mate. We learned a lot. All of us were convinced to visit Punta Madryn in September again! Or October, November. We would LOVE to take your long tour to see whales next time. Thank you everyone!!!! Roger and Yasumi ☺️

5.00We made an excursion to the Valdés Peninsula on December 24 with the Animal Travel agency and it was a really beautiful experience. Our guide, Nico, a boy from Puerto Madryn, proved immediately prepared, helpful and very attentive to our needs. Throughout the trip he accompanied us with interesting explanations and stories, making us feel more like in the company of a friend than with a tour guide. The day flew by and remained one of the best memories of our trip. Thank you Nico for accompanying us in this wonderful experience!

5.00We did the Valdes Peninsula tour with whale watching It was great, amazing. Ceci gave us a very interesting glimpse of the peninsula and its animals Nico the driver, stopped the combi before every "bug" we saw with the same fascination as us Ceci a genius, a passionate nature and especially whales He gave us a lot of information, we thank you very much. And the sighting was incredible, despite the few expectations we had at the time The captain of the ship looked for the whales, found them and no one wanted to leave. It took more than 2 hours for us to enjoy it to the.maximum I love them, great, we have fun and we get really excited We saw penguins, marta, armadillos and hundreds of guanacos Beautiful experience with Animal Travel We came to them on the recommendation of a friend and I don't regret choosing them Thank you Ceci and Nico

5.00What a beautiful and perfect day! Cecilia and Nico guided us through the peninsula stops, sharing facts and personal stories. Nico made sure to stop at every sign of wild life and played fun music. Cecilia treated everyone like family and made sure she translated information when my kids didn’t understand. They tailored the experience to all the travelers requests. Seeing the whales and animals along the drive were our highlights. Nice weather made a difference and it is a long day, so remember to pack snacks.

5.00All great. In the morning whale watching we had no luck with the wind, but they organized everything to keep seeing the peninsula and in the afternoon try again and we could see a lot!! So very well out of concern that we had a good experience.

5.00Our day was incredible! Communication was 10/10. Our van was comfortable, our tour guide Cecilia was knowledgeable, engaging and kind. Our 6 and 4 year old girls had a wonderful day that they will remember forever. We would a absolutely recommend Animal Travel to all of our friends and family visiting Puerto Madryn!
