Plaza Colon
Located at the entrance of Old San Juan, Plaza Colón is named after Christopher Columbus. The plaza features a prominent statue of Columbus and is surrounded by colonial-era architecture. It's a bustling hub that connects visitors to the historic heart of the city.
Plaza de la Barandilla
Plaza de la Barandilla is a charming and unique square in Old San Juan, known for its signature railing (barandilla) that gives the plaza its name. It connects Calle San Francisco and Calle Luna, and is the only plaza in the city that doesn't honor a religious or historical figure.

Our tour was scheduled to start at 4:00 we arrived at the meeting point at 3:30. A few minutes before 4 I messaged the guide to insure we were in the correct location, no response. We saw an officer and asked him and he told us we were in the right spot. We checked with another officer who told us we were in the correct spot as well. 4:20 the guide still hadn’t shown up. I had some upset teenagers that was eager to learn more about Old San Juan. We didn’t get to tour because he never came.
