Be prepared to have your breath taken away by the unbelievable views while sampling some of the local pies. Walk on towards Fira on a footpath right on the edge of the caldera which gives more stunning sea and volcano views. A glass of cold local beer will be the perfect welcome to the capital of Santorini. Follow your guide through the historical alleyways and hidden paths of Fira with several stops for samplings of local treats, including an olive oil tasting and a quick bite of souvlaki - the ultimate greek street food. Enjoy a midday meal in a tavern with views of the caldera. Loukoumades, the Greek doughnuts, will put the sweetest stop to this fun filled tour. This tour gives an introduction to Greek cuisine in a fun and informative manner from the local standpoint, showcasing not only the flavors and ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine, but also the beauty of Santorini as a world-famous destination. It was amazing we had Gabriel as our guide and he was phenomenal and got to know each of us as we walked. It was a wonderful experience and the food was delicious.

The tour was extremely well done. Our guide Lena was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information regarding Greece and the history and cultural aspects including the food we were eating and the drinks we were drinking. If we could do it again, we would but we’re leaving highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was Lena, she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable.. She discussed Greek culture, traditions, etc. She was very personable and lots of fun. Food/drink was delicious. Make sure you wear sneakers, lots of steps and uneven surfaces.

Our tour guide, Gabriel, was helpful, informative and personable. We ate delicious food which were a wonderful local sampling. As we proceeded on a lovely walk, our guide shared the interesting history of Santorini.
