Fantastic experience from start to finish. Gabriel was friendly, humorous, knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a small group of five people total. There are beer and wine pairings - but for those who abstain from alcohol were sufficiently accommodated (Gabriel asked for my choice of fresh juices/soft drinks). Finding the location was easy (click on the link they provide for the Google Maps location) - but if you’re travelling from Perissa, you can either walk to the church (eight minutes) or take another bus (connect from Fira to Firostefani - paying another £2 wasn’t worth the four minute drive). Flat, comfortable shoes are necessary as there’s a lot of walking and steps. Food was outstanding - all small bites before the larger lunch, olive oil tasting, dessert - they’re not kidding when they say “arrive hungry”. Bottled water is provided. Highly recommend if you enjoy good food, amazing views and history.

So glad we did this tour with Lena! It introduced us to some of the most delicious food we could have hoped to try in Santorini and Lena was so sweet, funny and informative. She filled every moment with an anecdote or fact about the island and its food. She was so kind and helped my partner locate his phone that he had misplaced, speaking to the hotel in Greek to locate it quickly for us! She went above and beyond. Such a good way to introduce us to Santorini and its gastronomy. x
